The office is soo funny! It was on last night and it had me cracking up! The show consistently gets better every week which is one of my favorite parts about it. Its a regular laugh fest! If you haven't watched it i'd have to say get out from under the rock you lived. Every Thursday night on NBC. Don't be a fool, just watch it and enjoy!

I'm glad we had such a good turnout for Grandma's BDay! She was so happy we were all there and we all had a great time! Including G-Ma...

Well i don't have much to say, just wanted to check everything out and say whats up...Hope all is well...

Hello to all cousins!

I'm at work so I will keep this short. I am not sure about Grandma's birthday...I think I may wait and come out next month. I am finishing up with teaching three classes and since I started working full time, the only time I can do teaching stuff is on the weekends and a little in the evenings. I am also trying to juggle time with the boys in there since they are at daycare all day now. At the end of March, the three classes will be over and my nights and weekends will be free. Dave has a Saturday off later in the month so I think we will all come out then. I may change my mind but I think that will make for the best plan.

Sarah--hope Cooper is ok! I'm not a big fan of cats...sshhh, don't tell Susan! :-)

What is everyone else up to? I'm just perfecting my juggling act and looking forward to when its over in just two or three more weeks!

Good Morning Cousins!

well here i am, watching tv, drinking coffee and hanging out with cooper... and bitters. bitters is susans cat thats been living with us for a few weeks now. im very nervous for coopers safety, being that bitters isnt used to him. right now the cat is sitting up on top of a cabinet, just watching cooper. as soon as she jumps down tho, she is being locked in the basement until cooper is put away. just a little nervous about what she may do.

well, i have been working alot lately and thats why i have not been on the blog. sorry for that. actually i worked the last 10 days in a row, either just at kohls or both jobs... hectic week. and i wont have a day off until next thursday... so ill be working 17 days in a row!

jenn- i will def be working at kyoto on grams b-day. have to be there by 4. i dont know if i will be working at kohls tho. ill know on monday.

well i hope everyone is doing well and i cant wait to see everyone!

Ideas for Grandma's Birthday

Hi All!
I'm going to try and keep this quick because I'm so tired tonight, but I want to post this in hopes of getting some replies.
I was talking with Mark this afternoon about Grandma's birthday and we decided to ask everyone if they had any ideas of what we can do to celebrate with her. We've all tossed around the idea of going out to dinner, which we're keeping in mind, but we thought we'd see if anyone had anything else. We were considering which restaurants, or having something at a family members house, or even getting something catered to Grandma's. Our plans don't have to be big, we mainly want to make sure Grandma has a nice time and is comfortable. So, if anyone has an idea or restaurant idea, please post here or text me/call me. Let me know and I'll pass things along to everyone.
Here's another thing: I would like to get a count of how many people are planning on joining us. With such a large group, we will need a head count. I know Bernadette is out of town and Kristy, Amber and Aunt Donna are in town, but we would like to know about others. I'd like to know by Sunday (march 15, Aunt Deb's birthday, R.I.P.) which cousins, boy/girlfriends, Aunts & Uncles are available Saturday, March 21st. As far as the time, we want to try and accomodate everyone. I know Sarah has work that night, so we may be able to start things during the early afternoon.
Okay, to wrap this up, I need names of those who can or can't make it. If you're working that day, fill me in on your schedule so we can try to plan for everyone to come along. Ask other cousins (and your parents) that don't read the blog if they can come. If we can decide where we're going and reservations are needed, I will definitely need a total by mid-week.
I think that covers everything. Oh, if you text my cell, be patient with my return since I just got a new phone and have yet to perfect using it :o)

Kristy- i did not even know you could blog on facebook. Where are they? Under profile somewhere? I am still getting used to the transition from myspace.

Jenn- sorry to hear everone has been sick. I was sick on and off all winter, which is unlike me. It seems everyone has been more sick than usual, and the school should know that. I can't believe they sent a letter for a kindergartner... like you would want to keep her home all day if she were able to go to school!

Bob and I could do Sunday night dinner, so long as we make it back in time. Its a 6 hour drive from Lake Placid. I imagine we will get home by 5pm. If we do monday, he can't come, but I would be able to. Let me know what the plans are.

Is it Friday, yet?

Hey All!
Sorry it's been so long since posting! Everyone here has been sick and we've been running to the doctors so much! Last week, I was at the girl's pediatrician 4 times! That makes up for Mike who's been sick and won't go to the doctor. (stubborn as a mule!) I've been dodging all sorts of sicknesses since being in Buffalo a month ago and I hope to keep my immune system fighting strong!! Just don't sneeze, cough, or breathe heavily in my direction or I may lose control! (it's the germ freak in me.)
As for Grandma's birthday, we won't be able to stay much longer than the weekend itself. I'd like to drive out Friday night, but I'm not sure if we can. We definitely have to drive back Sunday by lunchtime since we can't have Mia missing any more school when she isn't sick. She was out all last week with bronchitis and I got a note from the school because she's already been out 14 days this year. Can you believe it?!? The stinkin' school sends me a note for her absences and she's only in Kindergarten! Do they think she's hanging out at her friend's house after I drop her off? Maybe they think she goes shopping with her little Kindergarten friends instead of going to class. Geeze, it's been a rough year with illnesses. They can eat their stinkin' letter!! Anyway, we will be there for sure Saturday night. That works best for us. My mom would like to make the trip with us, too. I talked to Tricia and she's trying to work things out with all her jobs. She's juggling full-time during the week plus a few classes and using her weekends to catch up on correct papers. I talked to her last night for the first time in 2 weeks!
Okay, so what is in mind for Grandma's birthday? Does she know everyone will be in town? Is it only the cousins or will most Aunts and Uncles be around to join in? Does she have a favorite restaurant? or a special place that she would enjoy all of us sharing? If anything needs to be planned, I can help.

Susan: I will bring the wedding purse and remember to show it to you this time :o)

Kristy: I totally could've used a trip to Ted's tonight! Not only am I hungry, but the girls drove me nuts tonight. All the damn meds they've been on have them strung out. I'll take a foot-long & some onion rings :o)
Bernadette: I guess we will miss you this trip. Have to see you next time. Oh, still trying to find that book I emailed about. I don't think anyone believes me since it's no where to be heard of :o)
Olivia: A commercial for Dead Poet's Society came on about a week ago. Ever since I saw it in the movies back in the '80's, I've LOVED it. I'll always remember "Captain, my Captain." Great, great movie.
Well, Mike just called and is on his way home. I had an appointment tonight so he came home after work and made dinner with the girls. He had a job to do and had to leave after he ate. I'm SO glad tomorrow is Friday!!! It's been crazy-hectic here!!

Grandma's Birthday

Hey Everyone whats up? Hey mark I think that is a great idea about going out Saturday and Sunday with grandma or doing something for her both nights so everyone gets a chance to see her for her birthday. Also we need to get a definite head count for both nights so we can make definite plans. I know that on Saturday me amber my mom mark Joe Stephanie and Chris Jenn and Mike and the girls will defiantly be there we need to find out from everyone else who can come and everyone needs to inform the parents and uncle David and Grace so everyone can come out. That is about it for now. Hope everyone is good and text me when you know you can make it out for grandmas birthday. Love you all and see you soon March 19th we come in.

What a wonderful idea to paint Gma's apartment. She got in around 11pm last night with my parents and was shocked (in a good way) I hear. I can't wait to see it!

Where to go?

How'z everything going cuz's? All is well with me. Just kinda rockin out at work. I miss tyou all so much i just needed to pop on and say hey to you all! I spoke with Grandma before she left and was excited about the idea of us taking her out. I asked if she wanted to do something for her birthday and she was kinda ho-hum about it, but then i suggested the cousins taking her out to dinner and she got pretty excited. Sarah wants to be involved, but works Friday and Saturday nights, so if we were to do something it would have to be a sunday, which limits the menu. I'm down with taking her out saturday and sunday, not sure what other peoples plans or $$$ situations look like, but keep me posted.

You all have to keep a secret but my parents, uncle dave and grace, joe, sarah, and myself painted grandma's apartment. It looks really good and she is gonna be soo happy! I can't wait for everyone to see it. but its a secret so don't tell ANYONE!!!!!

Well i may need some help figuring out a big vacation this year so i'm gonna throw out a few ideas and let you give your suggestions:
1. Visiting Lauren in Columbia, which would be sweet and i'd get to visit South America
2. Going to the Carribbean, I've never been there and can find sweet all inclusive deals including airfare for like 5 or 6 nights and airfare for under $700
3. Back to Europe, I had such a great time last year that i'm itching to go back.
4. Any other ideas i'd gladly entertain.
I'm picking up another job so that i can afford to head somewhere, lol.
