Mondays....
Kristy- I'll try to get on that this weekend. Al the pictures are at my parents house and I was not there this past week. Josh could probably look for them if I do not get the chance. You want around 10 pictures, right? Thanks for the text this weekend :)

Tricia- see you this weekend I hope! At least it won't be snowing...well, I guess you never know, but I think its supposed to be at least 40 here. Tomorrow is getting up to 60 they say!
So bob and me and another couple went to the casino and saw Buddy Guy play last night- he is a three time grammy winner- he's 70 and sings blues and is awesome! We went to dinner and gambled a bit before the concert- it was a great time. The buffet was yummy too :)

good morning cousins! well here i am with cooper watching tv and waiting for my coffee to brew... in an hour i get to go drop off my car bcuz the inspection is going to be up and i want to see how much it will cost to get my mirror fixed...its just taped now. and then...depending on how much i have to spend on my car im going to stop at petco on the way to grandmas and buy cooper a new cage... the old one is just too big for him. plus it probably has zoeys scent on it and so i think i new cage will be good for him.

CALLING ALL COUSINS
Hey guys just a quick note to remind you all of the DVD idea I had. I need you all to get on getting me some pictures. Jennifer I know you have been working hard and I thank you. I need someone to get Stephanie or Brandon to get me pictures from their family, and get some good ones from G'MA but don't let her know. Wii night was fun!
We had a great time playing Wii. Dave is probably the best at guitar hero but I was surprised at how quickly Jenn picked it up. It took me a little while to really get it down. I got boo'd off the the stage a few times when I was first learning. We played bowling and tennis too. Mia got mad because the grown-ups had games to play and the kids couldn't play. But she was happy when we put on The Bee Movie for the kids to watch while we finished playing.
RE: Our trip--I think we are just coming on Sunday for the day. We'll probably leave here early and get there no later than lunch time and then head back after dinner when the kids will be sleepy. Maybe we can take a walk to the park near Grandma's and let the kids run so that they can release some energy.

I'm eating rabbit butt!
A chocolate rabbit butt, but rabbit butt nonetheless. lol... We have an insane amount of chocolate in our house, which is great for my taste buds but not really great for anything else.
Dave's test went ok. We won't get results until Tuesday or Wednesday but they did tell him that the EKG part was fine. Dave is miserable though because we went grocery shopping and I wouldn't let him get any of the junk that we sometimes buy. I read labels and it seems that so much of what you think isn't really bad, isn't all that good. Everything has hydrogenated oils in it. We did buy lots of fresh fruits and vegetables which he enjoys. Dave and Daniel eat more fruit in a week than I eat in a year. They just love it. When we went to OCB the other day, Daniel ate two or three servings of cucumbers, peaches, and honeydew and nothing else until dessert when I let him have a cookie.
Well, I have to get my house straightened up because Jenn and Mike are coming down to try out the Wii. Should be fun.
Oh and we are looking at coming out on April 6 which is actually next weekend already. As long as we are all healthy and the weather is good we should be there. Is that ok?

Susan- do you have to go to watertown again? Was it an individual or a company you were auditing? If you go again in the summer, we should see who can go with and go rafting on Black River. I've heard its awesome!
Yesterday was busy for me. I drove the 30 minutes to work, picked up my boss, and drove anotehr 30 minutes to a meeting at Canisius for 2 hours, then drove back to work, checked emails, made phone calls, ate, and ran off to another 2 hour (very boring) meeting, then had a client, and by then it was after 4pm so i had to finish paperwork, check emails, and go home. Last night was fun though. bob and I met erin and her boyfriend at the jewelers where erin and i both won gem stones in the easter egg hunt and picked out settings (rings) and then we all went out for italian food. I was not happy with my eggplant parm, espcially since it was marked as "chef's choice" but the cheesy spinach garlic bread about made up for it.
Today i am glad to have no meetings and only three clients and there is a pilates class on my lunch break that i will go to. good times.

The boys actually both slept in today...6:30! Woohoo!!! I was shocked when I heard Daniel waking up and I could see daylight. Dave is off today because he has a stress test. He has been having some chest pains so the doctor wanted him to have the test. He also has high blood pressure, very high cholesterol, and a family history of heart disease (his dad had a heart attack at age 35!) so its best to be tested early. I hope it goes well though. His diet is only so-so and he won't listen to me when I tell him he has to cut out certain foods. Maybe now he will though.
Other than that, I think Jenn, Mike and the girls are coming down tonight to check out guitar hero. I'm getting better at it and I feel like a rock star! LOL... my alter ego has purple hair and pigtails. :-)
Oh and I'll let you know as soon as we know what day we are coming for breakfast.

How disappointing!!
Guys, as much as I love my sister, I opened the blog expecting to find much more than just a post from her!!! So anyways, how is everyone??
We have to log out of our tax software for like 15 minutes so I figured I could say hi on here quickly!! I am doing alright...19 days left!!!! I cannot wait!!! So for 2 weeks after tax season, I am down to only 40 hours/week..it seems surreal to work so little!!! haha Then I go back to waitressing in May, but that's fine..it's fun and good to have some extra money on the side you know?
So I just heard from Lauren today (it's been like over a week), and I figured I could update all of you on what's going on with her (if she didn't get a chance to write to whoever she writes to). They are in Valencia now, and she said the city is gorgeous and the weather is beautiful (yes Buffalonians...let's get jealous with our upcoming snowfall for the next day or so!! haha) They are looking for an apartment now, which she said is hard because they are all so expensive...but I am sure they will find something!!
I am excited for my breakfast with Sarah tomorrow!! We had to skip last week because of an early drive I had to make to Watertown, but we are back on track now!!
Tricia, that would be nice if you guys came up next month!! I am sure we won't make you work around breakfast at Grandma's schedule, but the breakfast will work around your trip!! Actually, we have been having breakfast weekly again so I am sure there will be no compromise needed!
Did anyone here get to see Austin while he was in town? That is so odd that he was only around for like 3 days, poor kid! I wish Chris could get custody you know?
Oh, Bern, that guy who just bought that lab puppy brought him into the office for like an hour last night..he was gorgeous!! If you want to know the breeder still ,let me know!

lots of energy
good morning all. here i am with cooper drinking my coffee and watching tv. im feeling a little better this morning only because cooper has more energy then he has had in the past two days. he has pretty much just been sleeping where zoey used to sleep everyday. so that had just upset me more...but not today! he has energy and is more like his old self.

Pictures of everyone have made my day!
Hi Guys!!
Just saying a quick hi since I have minute. I've been thinking of you guys all day!! I was looking at pictures for the Reunion video to send Kristy and I have a ton of all of you! Being the oldest cousin and always having a camera has gathered me so many cute photos and fun memories. I sat on my bedroom floor by myself looking at them on and off all day. The girls would run in and I'd show them one and they'd laugh...then, they'd go back to playing. They didn't bother me most of the day so bringing the pics out today was meant to be. Most are from the '80's when you guys were under 10 yrs. old. Funny, cute and sweet!!!
Mark: Awesome job scoring the lincoln! Sounds great. I laughed out loud at the jenny jen name! Cracked me up!!
Sarah: I have to agree with everyone on checking out a new job. You deserve something that treats you better including the customers.
Susan: Hello...hello...I'm just checking on you. Hope you're doing okay :o)
Bernadette: Your Lake Placid trip sounds like an awesome time. I'm picturing a place so calm and relaxing.
Tricia: Friday night should be okay with Mike. I'll talk with him tonight.
QOTD: Let's see, how do I pamper myself?? I'm sure I shouldn't admit to locking my kids in the closet, right? Seriously, I love going to a State Park that is near me. Although I haven't gone in a while, I love to sit on a picnic table by the water and feel the warm sun shine down on me. If no one is near the water, I'll just sit there, close my eyes and feel the energy of the sun. It's awesome. Just thinking about it makes me want to go there now. I also love music. I'll listen to something that fits my mood. And, of course, shopping is always a way of pampering myself. I rarely by myself anything, so new shoes or a purse is fun. Lately, I've been into home decor and changing things in our house. That's been something fun to me, too.
Well, the few minutes I had are up....I hear the girls arguing over something..Hey, can you believe they're still playing with those plastic Easter eggs I mentioned a few weeks ago?? They do egg hunts everyday! I'll be keeping those eggs out until Halloween if it keeps them occupied. Whatever works!

for my vehicle inquirers...i bought a 2000 Lincoln Continental that is just about flawless....it has 40000 miles on it and i got it for 8000 which is about 3000 less than Blue Book Value, so thats pretty cool...its a really nice pearl white and has some nice chrome rims....good stuff...

Sarah--you have had a rough week or so. I think you need to get a different job because the people that are at OCB seem to be too mean. Between the customers mouthing off, irresponsible supervisors, and now bad drivers, it just doesn't seem to be a good place for you.
Bernadette--to answer your QOTD from yesterday...to really pamper myself, I like to go for a pedicure but I only do that about two or three times in the summer and that's all. Another things I like to do is go to Borders and look at books, buy a few, then get a latte and sit there and read for awhile. I really enjoy that.
If I am staying home, I like to watch Friends or DVR or movies that I love and just relax. I often do that while falling asleep at night.
I'm meeting two friends for lunch today. They were the secretaries at the Judge's chambers where I worked after law school. But I have to take the boys with me because I made the lunch plans thinking Dave was off. I didn't know he had training again today and he forgot to mark it on the calendar. So, I will be going to lunch with kids in tow. Daniel is excited to go with me though so hopefully he'll be good.

Sarah- so sorry about having to put Zoey to sleep, but it is good to know she is not suffering any longer. My mom used to tell me and josh when our pets died when we were younger that they would be in heaven, and to ask Jesus to see them once we got there. Maybe Aunt Debbie can adopt Zoey and take care of her until you get there :)

Hang in there, and in the meantime, do something to pamper yourself. In fact, that can be the question of the day. What does everyone do to feel better when upset, or to pamper themselves? I usually veg out with a glass (or two or three) of wine, chips, and a movie or my DVR shows. I did that a lot when feeling homesick in Tampa.

good morning all. well thanks for the thoughts and prayers. yesterday was hard. i went to the vet with zoey and was told that she was blind with cataracts (cant spell) and was suffering. so through tears i told them i didnt want her to suffer anymore. so i decided the best thing for her was to let her go. i didnt want her in pain anymore.... im upset that she is gone but i know it is for the best... eventually i will be ok...

Hugs for Sarah
Sarah- I've been thinking about you today, and my mom said to tell you she was too and said a prayer for you and Zoey. How did the vet's go?
Our trip to Lake Placid was excellent. We had a great time, and although it was well below freezing, the beautiful high peaks of the Adirondacks made up for it. I'll try to post a picture but i am on the wrong computer right now. Some of you saw pics at Grandma's yesterday.
Well, I just had a minute to write so I had better go. Have some things to do before I go back to work in the morning.
I hope all is going well for everyone, and that everyone got enough chocolate!

I'm so sorry to hear about Zoey. I really hope there's something that may help. If there isn't, I hope you'll be okay. I remember when our pet guinea pig had to be put to sleep and it's tough. No matter how big or small your pet is, you love them. I'll be thinking of you both at 3:40. Let us know how things are....

a little prayer for zoey
good morning all! well its my only day off this week...but it doesnt feel like it. i woke up and cut my moms hair and then i took the ferrets out. at 6 i am babysitting for my cousin jen on the other side of my family and cutting her little girls hair. at 3:40 i have a vet appointment for zoey because on friday she wouldnt eat or drink anything and was standing with her back arched for like an hour. just standing there...which in and of it self is wierd but she hasnt done much but sleep lately so just her standing for an hour wasnt right. (especially the way she was standing) they most likely will be putting her to sleep today, so whoever reads this, and if you think of us at 3:40...if you could say a little pray for the both of us... i would appreciate it. well thats all i have for today...

Happy Easter!!!
Good morning cousins! Happy Easter!!
Remember when you were little and being so excited about Christmas and Easter that you couldn't sleep? Well, on Christmas this past year, Mia slept pretty normal. Bedtime was normal and although she always wakes early, Christmas morning wasn't earlier than usual. BUT, today, she will be napping by 11a.m. if it's up to me!! Last night, she called me in her room at 9:30 because she couldn't sleep. This morning she came thru my door at 4:45!! I told her to go back to bed. Since it was so dark, I went in to check on her and she was wide awake. She was talking a million words a minute and right now, I don't even know what about. After going back to bed, I woke up again at 7 and could hear her huffing and puffing because she was mad she was still in bed. I knocked on the wall softly to let her know she could come in my room and she got here in the blink of an eye. She was wearing bunny ears and smiling like she just won the lottery. She couldn't wait to see if the Easter Bunny came and check out her Easter basket, so we took her to the dining room and she couldn't contain herself. I don't know how Gianna slept thru it, but I'm glad she did. I took some cute pictures that surely will be family classics.
My mom wasn't feeling well yesterday so we may have Easter dinner at my house. Kind of a low key dinner if it's here, then we'll have the usual dinner next weekend when she's feeling better. Yesterday when I talked to her, she was worried because she didn't have chocolate candy for the kids. She had clothes, toys, peeps and other candy, but not chocolate. I told her that it's okay and Tricia & I won't care since we don't give our kids much chocolate, but my mom insisted she needed some for the baskets at her house. I ran to our favorite candy store and got some. I thought that was so cute.
Well, Mia's pretty much bouncing around my room like Tigger and it's getting annoying. I think I'll have Mike sit on her.
Everyone have a great day! I hope the sun is shining where you are like it is here. It's such a nice Easter morning. (even if it did start wayyyy too early :o)

not too worried about the blue car. she was a good friend, but it was her time. i had it for about a year and a half and only paid $500 for it. so i got my moneys worth. right now i'm looking for a lincoln Ls. the owners dad of the restaurant i work at owns a car shop so he is going to get me one at the dealer auction. so i should be able to get a nice one for a reasonable price. thank you all for your concern. it is appreciated! well i gotta jet.

livid over a staple
good morning cousins! happy birthday grandma! well no breakfast this morning because susan had to leave really early the get to watertown on time. she offered breakfast at 3:30am tho...i declined. so i got to sleep in a little bit. one of joes friends is sleeping on the couch where me and the ferrets normally chill...i tried to wake him up to go to the other couch but he didnt listen... so i took the ferrets out anyways...i have warned them for months not to sleep out here or the ferrets would wake them up...lol so far they have been good.
so work yesterday was absolutely ridiculous! towards the end of the night this guy comes in by himself. he pays with a credit card, and i staple the receipt to this paper that we are supposed to staple it to. so the guy says, "i didnt want my receipt stapled." with this horrible attitude...like i did something wrong. i said "sir thats the procedure." "well i didnt want it that way." very snippy. so i say "well its just a staple you can take it out." ya know its a freaking staple...not such a big deal....so we go back and forth for a little bit... and then he says that he doesnt want to eat anymore and he wants his money back....fine..so i go get kevins keys to do the return...i get back up there and im returning the money on his credit card. and he says "better yet i want to talk to your manager." by that time the receict for the voided out credit card sale came up so i said " ok itll be a minute before he gets up i just need you to sign this, its the voided out credit card receipt." he starts freaking out on me...screaming about how he doesnt have to do anything i say and the he wants to speak to my manager right now...and blah blah blah so i call kevin up to cash and the guy explains his emotion on being livid because of the staple. my manager said that he could just remove the staple. and he didnt really see the big deal. and the guy lied and said that i had told him he couldnt see a manager and he had to sign the receipt right now...f-ing liar...it really pisses me off when people lie about me in front of my face! well anyways the asshole left after getting the distict managers number... isnt that just ridiculous!
then after close i was helping joe stroh (joes friend who used to live with us.) close his section, and we were talking when tony, the supervisor, came up and told joe something he had to do. stroh was saying how he liked that tony asked to do something and not just yell about everything. well tony started like yelling something so i just tried to explain that stroh was complimenting him. and he starts freaking out at me saying how i was butting into his business and all this horribly mean stuff.. i just told him to shut up and not talk to me... so then he walks into another section and stroh walks over to me and says what is up with people today and then i start saying i have no idea and tony comes up yellng again about how i was butting into his business and it wasnt my concern. i said tony me and joe were talking and u butt into my business...so then we are yelling again and he walks to the other section again and my brother comes over and asks what happened... so i start to tell him that tony was freaking out on me and tony comes over AGAIN and is yelling about how i was butting into his business and i was like tony im talking to my brother this isnt your conversation... then he left but i was so annoyed, how are you going to complain that i was butting into your business and then you butt in to mine twice! i am so sick of stupid people...its getting ridiculous....

Happy Birthday Grandma!!! U R the Best!
I was thinking about Grandma's birthday last night before going to bed and I had a dream with everyone in it. We were all circled in their living room talking. I think we were talking about cell phones, but I'm not sure why. Maybe my dream was referring back to when we were teasing Uncle Dave about his phone ringing like porn movie music?!? I'm sure some of you will be seeing Grandma today. Give her a big hug and tell her it's from me :o)
Kristy: I'm going to get to those pictures today. While I was watching t.v. last night, I remembered that I started looking and never chose which ones I'm going to send. I will get on that today and mail them in the beginning of next week.
Well, Mike is off today. Yippee!! and he is off Monday, too!! We thought about traveling this weekend and getting to Buffalo, but knowing there will be heavy traffic kinda turned us off...also, because he has a lot of work to do in our downstairs and he's been trying to get alot accomplished. He's been working down there over the winter and his brother is going to sheet rock soon, so Mike's been wiring the electrical outlets, building walls, working around the plumbing and today he wants to start the heating. We'll have so much room once it gets done. The girl's toys are first to go down!! I'm tired of my living room looking like a toy store!
Sarah: I cringed when I read your posts about people threatening you. It made me upset because you're such a sweetie, how could they do that?! Then, I got mad and wanted to kick their asses. I'm glad your boss threw out the ones that he heard making threats. Please be careful.
Mark: How's the car situation? I hope you can find something reasonable that you like. Is there a certain kind you're looking for?
Bernadette: Are things moving along with your house? How's Spring break? The girls were excited that yesterday was the first day of Spring and Mia wanted to wear shorts. Umm, did she not see it flurrying out the window? Crayyy-zeeee!!!!
Tricia: I didn't answer your ice-cream question. Well, that is my favorite food! I love chocolate ice cream with brownie in it. You know, they call it Charlie Brownie. I also like peanut butter crunch yogurt and strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Oh, and hot fudge sundaes made with mint chocolate chip. Then there's soft chocolate ice cream flurries mixed with reese's peanut butter cups. And, TCBY's white chocolate mousse or during the Fall, pumpkin yogurt with wet walnuts. I think I hit them all. Too bad the Easter Bunny couldn't bring ice cream!!
Well, everyone have a great day!! I'm sure Susan is swimming in tax returns by now. Someone give that girl a hug from me and tell her there's less than a month left!

i hate thursdays!
good morning all! well here i am ferrets tv and coffee! ummmm... work yesterday was busy! but nothing funny happened... i have to be there all day today...i just dread thursdays when i wake up...
bernadette- haha im sure any server has a million stories about dealing with a-holes. there are def people who look down on me bcuz i work in a resturant... but they can just f themselves...lol
tricia- i was def more surprised than anything when kevin kicked that lady out. normally the managers dont do anything bcuz they are to scared...dont know y... like 2 weeks ago... i was standing by the cash register seating and these ladies were waiting to be seated bcuz they had a bigger party. and they kept saying how they were gonna be waiting for me in the parking lot and they were gonna wait til i got out of work...stuff like that. i told my manager dan...and he didnt say i word... ridiculous! i get threatened alot i guess....lol not a very safe work environment.
well that is all i have today...maybe i will have some stories from today... have a great day all!

Hi everyone!! I hope everyone's doing well!! I had to make an appearance on here, it has been awhile!! So only 26 days left of tax season!!! It's going to be a tough 31/2 weeks, but that's it!!! I am so excited!! I appreciate everyone asking about George from past posts, I haven't seen him since I went to the hospital, but I here is doing much better! The girls at the restaurant are keeping me updated! I should really give him a call though huh?
So, we had our first deadline this past Monday the 17th (it's when corporation tax returns are due). And the partners bought us this huge italian lunch to eat in the office. And ten Tuesday, we closed the office at 4:30, and they took us to happy hour at this bar called The Chocolate Bar (the girls picked it out because we outnumber the guys by like 7!) But it was nice that they showed they appreciated all the work we've been putting in. And normally they give us a random day off in the summer and say it is our Good Friday day off, but they decided to actually give us off tomorrow!! Well, I was super excited until I realized that I have to go to Watertown tomorrow for the audit!! Well, the one partner, after telling me that I got screwed on the whole thing, said I can have a floating holiday some other day--how nice right??

Sarah- it amazes me how rude and self-centered people are. Who did she think she was to threaten you? I wonder what she said. Thank goodness your manager stuck up for you and kicked her @#$ out of there! I hope her and her family do not go back to OCB. I think people like that for whatever reason wrongly think they are superior to people in retail and restaurants. Maybe Bob could write a column about that. Maybe he can even quote you. I'm sure you have a lot of examples of people acting like a-holes. Lol...
Tricia- your ice cream sounded yummy. I'm glad the pictures turned out OK depsite the tears and red marks. I can't wait to see one.
Jenn- where did Gianna learn and Irish gig? I was picturing her doing one and laughed because it must have been just so cute.
Well, I today I am taking Erin to lunch for her birthday and then we will probably stop at the jewelers that Bob gets my jewelry from for their easter egg hunt. they have a variety f prizes and coupons hidden in the eggs throughout the store and in one egg is a diamond. Wouldn't that be nice to pick that egg?! Last time i went about two years ago i picked an egg with i think $75 off, so Bob got me a reasonably priced ring with a pink stone in it and a small diamond. I can't remember the stones name; not a pink amethyst. Hmmm... Anyway, I am excited about lunch. Going to metropolitan in Lockport that has a yummy but pricey menu for dinner but lunches are average priced and I, of course, have a coupon. I make momma proud :)

Well, I today I am taking Erin to lunch for her birthday and then we will probably stop at the jewelers that Bob gets my jewelry from for their easter egg hunt. they have a variety f prizes and coupons hidden in the eggs throughout the store and in one egg is a diamond. Wouldn't that be nice to pick that egg?! Last time i went about two years ago i picked an egg with i think $75 off, so Bob got me a reasonably priced ring with a pink stone in it and a small diamond. I can't remember the stones name; not a pink amethyst. Hmmm... Anyway, I am excited about lunch. Going to metropolitan in Lockport that has a yummy but pricey menu for dinner but lunches are average priced and I, of course, have a coupon. I make momma proud :)

Jennifer--was Mike off yesterday? My kids won't be seeing the Easter bunny. I tried twice to have Daniel see him but he gets scared and won't even walk where he can see the bunny. Dave and I made an agreement years ago that our children do not have to sit with the bunny but that they have to sit with Santa. Dave doesn't think they should have to go at all while I say they should so that is our compromise.
Bernadette--did the carpet guys come yesterday? Did you and your mom go to a movie? I rented Enchanted and it was so cute. I really enjoyed it. Although anytime I can look at Patrick Dempsey for 2 hours is a good time! :-)
Mark--did I tell you we got Guitar Hero? Love it!!!! Its so awesome. I sucked at it really bad the first few times and I almost hated it but then I started to get the hang of it and now I can't wait until the boys go to bed every night so I can play. I'm still on three keys only but I am getting better. I was excited to see Poison on there and I've been playing it a lot but I can't get C.C.'s solo down...I mess it up big time, every time I play. :-)
Yesterday we took the boys for pictures. We get one done this time every year, usually with all of us but Dave and I just didn't feel like getting our pictures taken so we just did the boys and then a few of just Andrew since he just turned one. I always get Daniel's picture taken around his birthday so this was Andrew's turn. Well our appointment was for 10:10 which was cutting it close to lunch time. Well of course we get there and the place was so packed with families it was ridiculous. It wasn't our turn until 10:45 and by then Andrew was hungry and cranky because he didn't take a morning nap. Daniel did great and sat and smiled for all the pictures but Andrew wouldn't sit still and when we tried to make him, he cried. And right before it was our turn, Dave was playing with Andrew and managed to give him a big red mark in the middle of his forehead. So, I didn't think any of the pics would look good but they did get a few good shots and you can't see the red mark so I was pleased. I'll be sending a bunch to Grandma and Grandpa. You guys can check them out when you are at their house.
After pictures, we grabbed lunch at the pizza shop next door to the photo place and then took Daniel for ice cream (the bribe used to get him to be good during pictures). We went to Cold Stone and I had the oreo something or other...sweet cream ice cream with oreos, fudge, and chocolate chips. The best ice cream I ever had!
That's about all here. Dave is off today but of course his training fell on his day off so he is gone all day. No fun for me. I look forward to his days off so I can have a little break and also for adult conversation throughout the day. Guess I won't have either today! Oh well..suck it up, right?

stupid coupons!
good morning cousins! sorry jenn, its not friday yet....lol i hope everyone is doing well. well work yesterday was just ridiculous...people are stupid and i cannot stand most of them! let me give you an example. we have had the same coupons out for about 3 months. for some reason they keep sending the stupid things out...well anyways the coupon says that you have to purchase a regular priced adult dinner to recieve either a second adult dinner for 5.99 or up to 2 kids for free. if you get the adult dinner for 5.99 you are only saving a little over 5 dollars. so if you have a kid or two kids that equal the price of a ten yr old, its cheaper to get the kids for free.
so this guy comes in with 2 adults and 2 kids equaling 10 yrs old. so i tell him the price which is 24.12. and he is fighting with me that he didnt want the 2 kids for free he wanted the adult for 5.99. i tried explaining to him that its cheaper the way i did it, but he wouldnt listen. i said fine you can pay more. the other way totaled 24.56. not much of a difference...but i was right. jerk! as soon as i told him the total.. he didnt say another word...
that wasnt even the worst of the worst yesterday... 3 adults came in..they were paying all together and they had the coupon. the total is 30.63. (you can tell i cash alot when i know all these prices lol) well anyways the one lady was in the bathroom and there was another lady up at the cash stand and a guy...the guy was paying. and for some reason shes b*tching about the price and "how is it so much" and says that im wrong and "we have the coupon" and "blah blah blah"! so i explain the coupon to her literally 5 times. by the 5th time of explaining the same thing to someone i get a little annoyed...so i read the list of how much everything cost and the tax and said the total again...with attitude...because shes stupid! at some point my manager kevin came up and was standing next to me, he needed a report off the register. well she then starts complaining that i am being rude and saying "gosh you dont have to be so rude." and i said right back at you. so we are going back and forth with it for a little while. and the guy the lady was with was telling her to be quiet and kevin was just like come on guys we dont need this. so the lady steps to the side and i had turned my attention to the next customer and just kinda zoned the dumb lady out and all of a sudden my manger kevin is like "get out right now. give them their money and their coupon and leave right now! you cannot be in here and threaten an employee" and so on and so forth... the lady had threatened me! i didnt even hear her! but it was crazy!!!!
well thats all i have for today! hope my day at work today goes better than yesterday!

Friday yet??
Hello everyone! It's such a good morning to sleep in...but, I'm awake and of course, Mia is awake. She's in her bed, but I hear her. 6:40 a.m., rainy, really dark still and she's awake! She'll be in any moment I bet.
So cool that Uncle David and Grace found a house! I'm sure they're so relieved. Once they get thru the closings, they'll be so excited I bet. Are they still planning a Fall wedding this year?
So, let me think what we've been busy with...yesterday the girls saw the Easter Bunny. Mike & I took them and laughed so much about Gianna. She kept saying "why won't the bunny talk to me?" And, while we were there, the bunny got a drink and used 2 straws pushed together so it would reach inside the big costume head. Mia saw that and reminded me how I tell her not to put 2 straws together (b/c she always spills it when she does) and told me that if the bunny does that, I should let her do it. Great! Good going Easter Bunny! Let's run around the mall with scissors, too.
I was running errands Monday afternoon for Mike and had to take money to him while he was at work. Gianna was with me. She did a little Irish jig dance while we were there. She had on her green beaded necklace and kept jumping around. Very funny. Today, Mia's class has an Easter party. Her friend is bringing pizza to the party and his mom asked if Mia could go with them to make the pizza. His mom's friend owns the pizza place. So, she's going to help make her class a pizza and then her friend is coming over for a little visit while his mom is at an appointment. The girls will enjoy having a friend over. I am waiting for the weekend to start! I bought the kids some chocolate for their baskets, but we like doing an egg hunt and I have some things to buy for that. We've done them a couple times at my mom & dad's and it's so cute. I'm hoping the weather is nice. We love seeing the kids find eggs. Gianna and Daniel were so little last time we did it. (last year it snowed so we didn't have one.) I'm looking forward to it all.
Remember back in January a bunch of us were talking about eating healthy. I've been doing pretty good and losing weight, but I've been at a stand still for 3 weeks now. I'm so frustrated with it because I'm still eating good, changing up my exercise routines, trying to drink more water...ugh, wish I knew how to make a break-thru. I hurt my knee over a week ago, but muscled thru it. Well, I've stayed the same almost 4 weeks. Drives me crazy!!! Anyone have any suggestions on getting thru this? I'm not giving up!!!
Well, hope everyone has a good Wednesday. Tomorrow I have my piano lesson and I'm looking forward to it. I keep telling myself that Friday will be here soon! :o)

Tuesday Morning
Hi everyone. I am sitting at home waiting for the carpet people to come by and measure. They are supposed to get here between 10:45 and 12:45, so I hope its earlier rather than later since I have things to do and people to see!
Sarah- it was good to see you yesterday. After you left my mom was like,"Sarah is just so cute." Thanks for the coupons for OCB. Very tasty, although they did not have corned beef and everytime someone asked they said "its cooking now." Rrrriiiggghhhttt. That is great you and Ron had a nice date. Two movies! I am jealous. My mom and I were going to see a movie today but I don't think we will have time by the time i get there because I have a bunch of errands to run. I have to go back to Lowes to get something that I thought came with the closet shelves I bought yesterday, and I have to go back to Target to exchange something and buy Draino, which I forgot yesterday but we desperately, and I mean desperately, need for our downstairs bathroom tub.
Mark- it does seem like you got your money's worth on that car. What are you looking for now? It seems like there is some good deals going on. I hear about them on the radio... I guess they always have "deals" going on. I hope you find a good one ;)
So I just found out Uncle David and Grace bought a house! It is gorgeous! Beautiful hardwood floors. I looked it up online while I was talking to him last night. Party at Uncle Davids in June when they move in!!

good morning all!
hey everyone!!!! i hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful st pattys day! here i am, my normal morning ferrets tv and coffee (well its brewing now) so i will have coffee.
well i saw grandma and grandpa yesterday. and then i went over to aunt peggys, bernadette was there. so i hung out with them for a little while, aunt peggy was so funny! nothing in particular she is just so funny! anyways as soon as i had gotten there, aunt peggy said "oh sarah i have something for you" and i said really? and she said well not really for you but for ron...she had gotten him some vitamins, which was just so sweet!
well anyways ron and i went on a date yesterday...lol we actually went and saw two movies...because my friend jen was working and got us free tickets for the second show, which was very nice of her. we saw vantage point, which was about the president getting shot and there was like 8 peoples views on it, so it kept going back to about 20 min before the shooting and going through it with someone elses view of it. it was a very good movie! the second movie we saw was the bank job. which is about a bank robbery. which was also very good. then we just went to applebees. it was a pretty good date. lol
mark- it sucks that the blue car finally bit the dust.... what car are you going to get now?

What in the heck is going on?
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that sent me a congrats...the well wishes are very appreciated...THANK YOU.....I hope that we all have a fun and safe St. Patty's Day!
My fav ice cream is ???? i don't really eat alot of it at all, but when i do either homemade coffee ice cream from Antoinette Sweets, or french vanilla from breyer's or edy's with a piece of warm apple pie....
well my blue car has way more problems than is worth fixing so i'm gonna call it a day on this piece and get a new one...i paid $500 for it a few years ago so i got my money's worth...hopefully i'll be able to get a new car soon so i don't have to walk for too long...lol...j/k....

happy saint pattys day!
good morning all! sorry im on so late, but joe was doing his homework last minute so he had the computer. how was everyones weekend? any good st. patricks day plans? ron and i are going on a date...lol dinner and a movie. hopefully there is a good movie out though!
so yesterday at work i was seating people, and i helped this 13 year old kid put a carseat on a high chair, because the adult was too busy talking to everyone that she knew that was there. she claims that the kid fell out of the high chair, even though no one in the crowded restuarant saw the kid fall and no one heard the kid crying.... and afterwards she put the kid back in the carseat, on the high chair the exact same way that i had it...so if it was so dangerous, why would she put the baby back in the high chair??? stupid b*tch! well anyways shes trying to say that its my fault because i didnt show her the proper way to strap the baby in...but its because she wasnt there for me to do so......she was too busy socializing! so annoying...so my manager told me to write down some notes about what happened in case she decides to call an attorney! i am just so annoyed about it....
well for the QOTD i would have to go with coldstone creamery and i would say that the cheesecake ice cream is just so good! its my favorite! but i love all ice cream!

One of the local radio stations is giving away food to people who pinch a non-wearing green co worker. One woman called in who had pinched a "brother" from the brothers of mercy. She won the food.
I am off today but I woke up around my usual time because even though the guys are "done" they still have to clean up and paint the ceiling the one guy stepped through. It is after 9 and they still aren't ehre. I guess I could have slept in. At 10 I have a chiro appointment and then I am off to willaimsville to do lunch with "Good Times" Laura who is in town and to go shopping for closet stuff so I can start hanging some of my many clothes. I also need to get Erin a bday present. I got her a bottle of wine from one of our local winery's and am taking her to lunch wednesday so i just need a little something. Then tonight I have supervision and then I am meeting with one of my professors for a quick chat in between the classes he teaches.

My ultimate favorite would be TCBY yogurt but alas, there are none around. The closest is Pittsford near Rochester (remember Susan, Sarah, and Lauren?? Not that it was close enough for us to drive to though)...
Anyway, I should get ready to leave. I hope everyone has a fabulous day.

Hello Cousins,
I hope everyone is well. We are all on the mend here. Daniel is still dealing with a runny nose and congestion but his fever is gone and he is much more himself. And he is sleeping through the night again which makes my life so much easier. Andrew is doing well with only a runny nose so I am hoping it stays that way. Dave seems to have a full blown cold like Daniel did but I think even he is starting to get better (its hard to tell...Dave is a typical guy and is a big baby when he is sick...lol...no offense male cousins!). And me, I'm doing just fine with only a little hint of a cold that really hasn't bothered me.
Other than that, I've been busy with work but not much else is happening. Hopefully we can have some chatter on here this week. Maybe a QOTD? How about....Ok here is one...
What is your favorite ice cream and/or favorite ice cream creation?
I enjoy Cold Stone Creamery's Sweet Cream ice cream with chocolate chips and brownie and whipped cream. I also like one they have in the fall called Pumpkin Pie in the Sky. Its pumpkin ice cream with whipped cream, graham cracker crust and caramel in it. Yummy!

Mark, You da man!
Mark, awesome job!! How crazy was it not expecting anything, then hear your name called for such an honor? That must've been so amazing. Congrats on a job done better than the rest!! Woo-hoo!
Bernadette, your post with the arabic bad words was funny. I remember hearing some of them as a child and when I asked what it was I was told, "Grampa's saying bad things in arabic. Don't repeat them :o) " Enjoy Spring break!
Susan, I, too, was wondering how George was. Cool that your friend had a baby boy. How many days until tax season is over?
Sarah, I loved the stealing chicken post. I was cracking up! Who goes to a buffet and thinks they can take food home? Why would anyone go for groceries if that could be done? I'd never have to cook!!
Tricia, I'm still deciding about tomorrow. It does look like it's going to be a nice day, so I may just take the opportunity and go all day. Mike wants me to go and have fun. I think I'll ask mom to babysit in 2 weeks instead. But, I may wake up and change my mind tomorrow. I'm undecided because I really don't like dawn's boyfriend....but, I'm not going to let him go out with my best friends and have a great time either!
So, are we all on for noon tomorrow? I won't be home, but I won't forget and I'll tell Mike so he can say a prayer and wish her a happy birthday, too.
On Sunday, we are going to color Easter eggs and I'm looking forward to it. I'm also looking forward to Easter weekend since Mike took Monday off and he may take off Good Friday. We have so much to do around our house and with him working so much, it's hard to finish any of it.
Well, I'll be thinking of everyone tomorrow at noon. It'll be nice that we'll think of Aunt Deb, but also of each other. Love you all!

Did I tell you about my new camera? I have been researching them online for weeks and testing them in the stores too. I decided on one, ordered it, waited patiently for it to arrive only to get it and not like it. I wasn't happy with it at all. So, I did a little more research and then sent Dave out to Best Buy to get the next one I decided on and to return the first one. Well, I had to pay a 15% restocking fee on the first one. That was ridiculous but I hated the camera so much that I didn't care. I LOVE the new one though. They look very similar so I when Dave got home with the new one I was afraid I may not like it but once I started playing with it I loved it and now I am happy.
I have a memory card that I bought and opened to go with the first camera and it is not compatible with the second camera so if anyone is in the market for a memory card, let me know and we can see if its compatible with your camera.

Hi everyone!!! Just stopping by to say hello quickly!! No, the ferrets did not go to breakfast with us, even though it did sound like it in Sarah's message!! Sarah, is my mood today wearing off on you?!! haha Sarah tried to wake me up this morning for breakfast at 4:45 and I didn't get up until like 5:15....but I managed to keep her entertained during the whole process because I tend to get a little delirious when I am exhausted and say some things that probably don't make sense to anyone but me!!

Congrats are in order
Mark- that is awesome about your award! Many congrats...Sounds like a well deserved honor. Add that to your resume!!
Tricia- my office is like that. It is either too cold or too hot. Or its fine while the door is open and then I close it for an hour with a client and it gets too hot. Arrrgghhh. I hope poor little andrew feels 100% soon so you all can get some sleep.
I am going to my parents for dinner tonight. It has been almost 3 weeks since i have seen them since they were on vaca for 10 days. I can't wait! Josh should be around too.
well, thats about it from me. i am just waiting until 5pm so i can leave. its been a busy day.

HEY all!
Last night the bank had their year end party at the convention center downtown. they give out all these awards and celebrate the prior sales year. so i was just sitting there and they start talking about The Top referring BSA's which is my job and they are calling out names and then my name gets called....!!! I'm like SWEET!!! So i got an award for being one of the top referring BSA's...then they go into talking about the position and what the jobs entail and then the say THE BEST OF THE BEST BSA OF THE YEAR IS.....MARK GRZYBOWSKI!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.....!!! i was soo excited....so i am the best person at my job out of like 300 people that do it....Holla at Ya Boy!!
sarah- she def didn't tip you cuz you called her out on the chicken....whats the difference if she takes it...she must be struggling hard if she needs to steal chicken from a buffet....lol....

Cold, hot, hot, cold...
I can never get the temperature just right. It will be cold, so I turn up the heat just a little and then it is too hot. Maybe my new nickname should be goldylocks!

stealing chicken
good morning cousins! well there was 8777765re`176q...sorry cooper wanted to say hi...lol well there was no snow day yesterday...of course, but i did get to leave an hour early! i only had 3 tables and i just asked my manager if i could leave...i was a little bored! so that was good news. and yesterday i saw this lady stealing chicken! she wrapped the chicken in two napkins and then pretended to keep eating and then was putting the chicken in her purse when i was walking right towards her. i said" you cant take the chicken home" she said "oh you cant??" (obviously she knew because if she didnt she wouldnt have been so secretive about it) i said "obviously not" then when my friend jena was walking by her table she asked her if she could take it home and when i went to go grab her plate she asked me AGAIN if she could take the chicken home!!!! R U KIDDING ME?????? no! and she didnt even tip me! lol well i prob embarrased her but still! stupid b*tch!

Arabic
So I went to an Arabic lesson at 2pm which I was very excited about...NU is celebrating international week so they have a variety of activities throughout the week. Well, the professor supposed to be giving the lesson never showed up, so I taught the other 2 peopel that showed up how to say bathroom and "pain in the butt", the only two words I know (shushmu and hetney- spelled phonetically) and we left after 15 minutes. I can't even find his/her email address on the network to email and see if he/she would reschedule.... Bummer. I was looking forward to learning some more phrases. I also kow "hulla" stands for S#@*, but I did not think that would be appropriate for me to teach students that :)
Jenn- I think that is a great idea about wishing aunt deb a happy birthday on saturday. let's do it!

good morning all! its my normal morning here. and im hoping work is going to be slow so i can go home early! i only work 12 to 4, which isnt so bad, but i prob wont be that lucky. i can always hope tho!

Here comes Peter Cottontail....
I have to share- for 2&1/2 hrs., the girls have been playing with those little, plastic, colored Easter eggs that are used for decorating. I opened a new bag to decorate windows yesterday and they've been the best thing in the world!! They've been hiding them, rolling them, making scrambled eggs on their kitchen set and even pretending to have egg hunts with their dolls. Who would've thought they'd keep them so occupied?!
Things have been getting back to normal around here. Mia's been busy with a bunch of field trips since school was cancelled so much last month. Picture day is tomorrow and she loves picture day. Gianna is seeming more herself. She's been taking some medicine that's been helping. Oh, speaking of medicine, Sarah, I'm glad Ron is doing better. That is crazy that he got misdiagnosed. I'm so glad they figured out the problem and how to help him. He must've been so frustrated.
Kristy, I will start looking thru pictures this week. I know where they are so it'll be easy to find. When I was little, I used to take tons of pictures during the time I spent in Buffalo, so I'll be going thru those! I also have a bunch of me & Tricia and some recent ones.
So, I was thinking- this Saturday is Aunt Deb's birthday. Wouldn't it be nice if we could pick a time, say noon, that we all could say a little prayer for her. Maybe we could all wish her a happy birthday at the same time. Last year, she was here visiting on her birthday and it's been on my mind. Do you think we can do it?
Well, i just wanted to take a quick minute and say hello to you all. It's been kinda tough for me to sit down and write lately, but I do read everyone's posts daily. As I sit here now, the girls are having a breakdown because THEY CAN'T FIND 2 OF THEIR EGGS! For the love of Pete, I must go find the eggs! It's an absolute tragedy when you're their age.
Okay, so things to add to my list: look for pictures for the video, the reunion is June 28th and find 2 missing eggs. Got it!!

Don't Joe and his friends have school today? My gosh, I don't know when the last time was that I was up until 4 or 5 in the morning. Its been years!

Not a whole lot is going on here. Saturday Daniel and I went with a friend to the Philadelphia Flower Show. It was really neat but it wasn't as big as I thought it would be. It wasn't quite worth the 2 hour drive there and then back again but it was cool anyway. And we stopped and Cold Stone on the way home which made us all happy!
I just ordered a new camera. I bought my current one in 2004 when Daniel was born. It has since been dropped several times and isn't quite right. It is cracked on the bottom and video no longer plays sound. So I just ordered a new one and its pink, my favorite color. And even better, Dave won't run off with it...I don't think he would want to be caught with a pink camera!

Hi!!! How is everyone?? I am doing alright....working a ton, but I am not minding it as much as I thought I would..and only 35 days left of tax season!! I cannot wait to only work 40 hours a week (well plus the 7 hours of waitressing, but I actually enjoy that!!) So I got home this morning at 4am to find Joe and like 6 of his friends playing drinking games in my living room....I can't even imagine being up that late anymore!! haha I feel so old! I like most of his friends though, they are good kids...Sarah, I hope for your sake that they all didn't pass out in the living room though!! I just noticed this number for our total posts and thought that was neat!
I have had a computer since about 10:00 this morning, thank God. And i think the montior they gave me is a bit larger...very good!
Sarah- if you ever change your morning routine, I think us cousins would not know how to handle it :) please give advance warning if you do. I am so glad to hear Ron is doing better and won't have to go to the hospital. That is great news.
Glad to hearthe Sesame Street outing went well. My mom tells me I watched it three times a day when I was young. I barely remember the characters though! Maybe snuffleufugus (I have no idea how to spell that) scared me and I have repressed most of my sesame street memories... lol...

ron went to the doctor on friday and the doc said that we was getting better and would not need to take a trip to the hospital! he still cant go to work for another week or two, but its a step in the right direction! so thanks for the thoughts and prayers all!
tricia and jenn- sounds like a good show on friday! and marks right friendlys is always good... except i dont know about there but everytime i go to friendlys (which isnt often anymore) i have the absolute worst server ever! takes forever for everything! its so annoying! hopefully thats not the case with ur friendlys!

Wintry weather
Happy sunday everyone. we have about 18-22" of snow here... how about everyone else?
My parents drove in from NC friday night and yesterday. The stopped at Aunt Patty's and Uncle Danny's for breakfast yesterday morning and saw Jenn and Mike and the girls, too. They made it safely home yesterday around 4pm, but I guess the last hour of travel from Rochester was slow going because of the iciness.
Bob and I were going to go snow shoeing but it is so darn cold and windy out. We finally have enough snow though, so hopefully this week or next weekend sometime. We are going out for dinner with his family to celebrate Connie's bday. Us girls never made it out friday night because of the weather... the roads were bad and her nurse called in sick so she would have had to find a last minute babysitter (either the sperm donor or her mom) so we postponed our night out until this coming friday. Anyway, we are going to Applebees in case Annaleha (our niece) is noisy (inevitable) so we figured Applebees is the best type of restaurant to bring a noisy kid too. I am glad she is coming, she is such a trip!
Bob and I have a few business related dinners this week which I look forward to. We are going to Bonefish tuesday with one of his sales reps (or something like that) who is a lot of fun. Some of you may remember his wife and him getting down on the dance floor at my wedding. Good times! And I love bonefish! Then, wednesday we have dinner with BOb's company's attorney and the brockport goalie and his girlfriend who have started "Saves for a Cure" where donations are made to a cancer hospital in Rochester every time Brockport saves a goal from going in. The goalie, Todd, battled cancer and is still rocking out as their goalie, so Bob's company is sponsoring him and paying for his legal fees, etc.... so we are all going to Shamus for dinner and then Todd will be on LCTV that night talking about his fight with cancer, how he overcame it, and the Saves for a Cure that he began.
Well, I have some time to be lazy before dinner so will go watch some of my DVR episodes.

Can you tell me how to get...
how to get to Sesame Street?
We saw Sesame Street today. It was a good show. My crew left a few minutes early because we were getting cranky (and by we, I do mean all of us!). Andrew was a little scared at first but then he got into it. It was a a fun time. They sang a lot of the songs from the show that we would all recognize. I like that better than when they make up new ones. Afterwards, we went to Friendly's for lunch and ice cream. Jenn and her crew and my mom I think just went home.
Sarah--I will keep Ron in my prayers. I can't believe they misdiagnosed him. That is terrible. I have heard of children having severe side effects to children's motrin. Daniel has had it and is ok but Andrew has never had it yet.
Happy Birthday Susan! I hope you can at least go to happy hour or something fun tonight!
Bernadette--we were supposed to get snow but it looks like we are just going to have rain instead. Maybe mixed with flurries tomorrow but that is about all. If you want you can keep your eye on it on our news channel. www.wnep.com

Darn technology
My computer monitor decided to dim itself for some odd reason and I can't use it (and I did not dim it by accident, I checked). I called IT who, when I described what the problem was, said it does not sound good and I probably need a new monitor. Lovely. And there are not tec's on campus today. I am on my coworkers computer since she is not here today. I can't access any of my documents which is annoying. Luckily I am not super busy today and don't absoutely need my computer when seeing my clients, but now my notes will have to be handwritten and even I have trouble reading my writing. LOL... I can't wait until 5pm!

so for those of you who know- ron has been really sick lately. on and off since before christmas. the doctors thought it was a contagious skin infection (kinda gross- but his skin was coming off in little circular patches.) so they kept giving him antibiotics to try and stop it. on tuesday it was really bad so his mom made him an appointment at the docs office. so when he got there they finally realized that they had diagnosed him wrong, he has stevens johnson syndrome. and what it is, is a rare allergic reaction to certain medications. so the anitbiotics that they had him on for 3 months was what was causing the skin to come off. the doctor says that if he doesnt get better within a week, that he has to be hospitalized. it can be really serious- a 7 yr old girl with the syndrome (didnt know she had it until too late) was given childrens motrin for a fever and within two days became permanently blind as a result of SJS caused by childrens motrin. so if you could all just keep him in your prayers, i would really appreciate it. (tricia and jenn (and everyone one else) dont give your kids childrens motrin i guess alot of kids have really bad reactions to it. (from what i understand))

It's been quite the week....
Wow, this week truly has been one of the craziest weeks I've had in so long. Gianna hasn't felt herself which has been tough and Mia has had a few things going on, too. Mike has been working late, but making trips home to hang out with the kids if I need him. Then, he's running back to work later in the afternoon. It's tough to explain this whole week, but I will definitely be glad when things are back to normal!! The only fun thing I did was on Wednesday. I went with Mia's class on a field trip to a local grocery store. It was so nice to hang out with the other parents while the kids enjoyed the tour. The class is studying healthy foods and nutrition. Me and 3 other parents trailed behind talking and laughing at the kids. Mia really liked it, especially the fresh pizza they all got at the end. YUM!!
Tomorrow is a show we're going to with Tricia and gang. It should be a fun time. I was going to send Mia to school afterward, but if we plan on going to lunch or doing something with everyone, Mia would rather do that I'm sure. (hint, hint Aunt Tricia :o) ) And, since lately the only person Gianna is talking about is Aunt Tricia, she would like to go, too. Gianna calls Aunt Tricia on her "cell phone," she pretends to talk to her and she said earlier that they were going to make cookies. I don't know, maybe the cell phone she plays with really works and they both have plans that don't include me!

I'm going to whine now...
I just got my rosters for my new classes. Each class has the full capacity of 20 students. So, in addition to the 18 students in my current class, I am gaining 60 more. Add in the 45 students I have at the college where I teach face to face that makes for a whole bunch of students. Ugh! I was anticipating that my Comp classes would have 20 each but my Criminal Justice courses usually have only around 10. But the one I have now started with 20 and I'm down to 18 and the one starting on Monday has 20. I'm going to be busy...I guess I need to sit down and make a schedule out and stick to it. That should make it more manageable.

Were you calling from a walkie talkie?
Watched that movie over the weekend when it was on tv. I haven't seen it in years so I laughed quite a bit. Although it really is quite sad when Big Tom dies. I hate that part. Why couldn't they just have him retire and move away or something?
Anyhoo...nothing going on today. Nothing at all. I'm resting up because currently I have only one online course but I start teaching three more on Sunday so I will have four classes going at the same time, two of which are composition courses and very demanding. I'll be doing quite a bit of work over the next nine weeks.
Susan/Sarah--glad the ticket was reduced but it still sounds to me like Susan got ripped off. She still has to pay $50 for making a turn that wasn't illegal to begin with. Not fair!

Is it Friday yet?
I just had an IT guy work on my computer for about 40 minutes. I felt lost without being able to go online for 40 minutes. Luckily he came at 11 and my 11am happened to cancel. I think he was confused when I asked him not to look at the screen for a minute while I printed out a session note since I had to close everything I was currently working on. Oh well...
I am ready for the weekend and its only thursday. Connie's birthday (sister in law) is saturday so we are celebrating tomorrow night and going out in Lockport. Sarah- if you are at Ron's you should stop by! It should be fun!
I don't have much to say really. I hope everyone is doing well. Happy Birthday to Andrew!

Sarah Smart Ass!!!
Sarah--that cracked me up! You are too funny. Next time you say something smart to someone come back here and tell us what you said.
I thought of you yesterday when Daniel and I were watching Funniest Videos and there was a ferret running around chasing a ball. :-)
I went for groceries this morning and stopped by Borders for a new book and a latte. It was quite peaceful. And I drank every last drop of my latte which I do not normally finish. It was so good though. It was honey cinnamon, their new spring flavor.
Now I am home and planning Andrew's birthday party....totally last minute. Its Wednesday and I am calling everyone to tell them we are having cake on Sunday. For Daniel I had this big party with fancy invitations that I made a month or two in advance. Poor Andrew gets a cake with whatever family doesn't have plans four days from now. I'll make it up to him on his second birthday! If any of you want to come to Scranton on Sunday, feel free to come over for cake!!! We'd love to see you!

snow day????
good morning all! its a snowy day here in depew. maybe i wont have to go to work today! i doubt that i am that lucky tho. here i am coffee, ferrets and tv! the perfect morning! yesterday at work just seemed to drag.... it always does tho. but 2 guys from corporate came in so everyone had to be on their best behavior. two of my managers warned me about saying my smart-ass comments to people in the line.... opps lol i thought that was pretty funny. sometimes i just cant help myself tho, the comments just fly out. ummm....i dont really have too much to say again... its been a boring couple of days for me.

Whitewater rafting and Stroking
Campus activities gave us all a magnet with various activities scheduled throughout the semester and May 3rd-4th they are sponsoring a whitewater rafting trip to Watertown, NY. Lol... susan, how was your trip there yesterday? How long did it take you?
I emailed Lauren about the reunion being the 28th of June but got no response. Since SUsan said she is planning to come whenever that is, then let's just plan for the weekend of June 28th, and those who want to can sleep over!
Its raining in PA? the temp dropped from 61 degrees yesterday to 27 currently, and later this afternoon through noon tomorrow we are in a winter strom warning for freezing rain/sleet with a possible accumulation of 1" of ice. Just call me your buffalo-blog-weathergirl!
I had a 1pm not show up so I am happy to be able to send a quick blog. I was in a meeting all morning, then went to the gym and ate on my lunch break. and have two clients this afternoon who I am pretty sure will both show up.
mark- why the leave of absence from the phone job?
Ok, so there was a funny comment made unintentionally at our sector meeting this morning (about 20 people from student life departments across campus), luckily not by me.. the head of the meeting said "I don't need you to stroke me, I can stroke myself" talking about not needing external affirmations from bosses, colleagues, etc.... but it had most everyone laughing hysterically (yes, we are all professionals, or trying to be!) and she looked uterally confused until the considerate person next to her whispered to her about why were laughing about her comment, which resulted in her laughing and ending the meeting on a funny note.... good times, good times.
Well, back to work for me. Talk to you all later or tomorrow.

Rainy day here. Blah! Andrew had his one year old check up this morning. The poor guy got four shots and he was not happy about it. He is ok now though.

i hope we are all having a fun tuesday. i'm working at the branch and then at Mazz's tonight...i picked up the shift cuz the tuesday guy is visiting his girlfriend in minnesota....ya gotta do what ya gotta do....
Sarah- i always seem to say yes when asked to pick up a shift to....even if i don't want to....but at least you made some money, right? it could always be worse....remember that.....

Hi everyone!!! I have a nice early start of 5:30 at work today because after we are done at the client today, I have to go right home at 5:30 instead of back to the office...I have court at 7. I don't know if everyone heard, but I got a ticket with Lauren the one day for making a u-turn (and it wasn't a no u-turn area). The cop thought I was on my cell phone, which I wasn't, and probabaly felt stupid for pulling me over so he found something else to give me a ticket for!! My ticket said "improper u-turn" (not illegal, because it wasn't !! haha) But my old boss knows the judge and he talked to him for me, so hopefully that will help my case!!

I can't wait for you to finish that book. I bought The Opposite of Love by Julie Buxbaum. Its good so far. I'm a little more than a third of the way into it. I read about it in Redbook magazine in January and put it at the top of my list of things to do after the exam.
Mark--it was a good time. He's a fun kid especially when you get to be with him one on one. What's new with you? Any customers giving you a hard time lately?
Dave just left for work so hopefully Andrew will nap soon and I can read more of my new book. Is it sad that reading a book is the highlight of my day? lol...

Tricia- your shopping day sounded so cute! Glad you are able to do fun stuff again. I am not ready to begin studying for my licensure exam. I felt like I gave so much up during grad school because of studying and my dissertation, I am not ready to do that again! I will probably start in May when works get boring when the students go home, and plan to take it in September/October... we'll see. What book did you get? I have about a third, or maybe less, of 19 minutes. We'll chat about it soon!
I have a no show this hour, unless she is over 20 minutes late.
So, this morning, around 8am as I am finishing getting ready for work, I heard noise from the upstairs area which is usual since the contractor guys get there around then. About 5 minutes later as I walked by the window I noticed no trucks in our driveway, so I walked into where they were working, and saw the door was still locked and no men in sight. I figured I just heard something but then heard something again a few minutes later, so I figured one of the guys was working but had gotten dropped off since there were no cars in the driveway, but when i looked- no one. Weird, huh? Good thing it didn't happen in the middle of the night! It was probably something falling over or the side screen door banging against the wall (it doesn't latch unless you lock it).... but who knows.
Did anyone else feel the weekend flew by? I was not ready for Monday, but today is a good day- no meetings and 4 clients...well, now three since my first did not show. And I did have an impromptu meeting.... anyway.
Well, back to catch up on some work. Happy Monday everyone!
