Hi everyone. It is almost 5pm and i am getting ready to go home but thought i would post real quick.
Yes, a tree went down in my parents yard. everyone is fine physically but frustrated that it was the neighbor's tree but they are responsbile for removing it since it fell in their yard. Ms. "I will pass the bar exam because I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dammit, people like me"...where is the legal sense in this? It was the neighbors tree strategicall positioned next to my parent's fence... And, I put that little quote up there because you are always doubting yourself on here about the bar. I know it must be a crazy tough exam like my licensure exam will be, but I encourage you to start chanting a positive mantra :) I think I speak for all of us that we believe in your intelligence and capablities and the score on the exam does not define who you are. We will love you no matter what!!
My mom is feeling better day by day but still not 100%, thanks for asking whoever did. I can't remember!
Ok, its time for me to go. Kristy just called and interrupted me so I forgot what else I was going to type :) LOL.... can't wait to see you FL ladies!

hey everyone! well good news from yesterday, the power at my work went out! hahah too bad it wasnt on a day that i wished for it...oh well it was a nice surprise day off! coffee, ferrets and tricia now i have on charmed...(instead of saved by the bell) its a show about 3 witches...i used to watch it when i was younger...susan and i did actually, so its kind of fun to watch now.
tricia i watched ellen yesterday too, and i love that sara barilles song! she was on regis and kelly earlier this week too!
jenn i can cut mia's hair, no problem...tricia i am sorry but unfortunatly i never learned guy haircuts...especially baby haircuts...i am so sorry...i would if i knew how!

Bernadette--heard a new song today and thought you might like it. Have you heard Love Song by Sara Bareilles? I like it. She was on Ellen today. She played the piano and sang. Good stuff. I talked with Grandma and Grandpa today and they said your parent's have a tree down. Is everything ok?
Mark--I'm sure you are hating that hot sunny weather and wish you were in Buffalo where there winds are blowing at 60-75 mph! Too bad for you! lol...
Sarah--if you are doing haircuts, you can give Andrew his first cut. I heard that its bad luck to cut a baby's hair before they turn 1. Andrew turns 1 on Friday the 8th and you guys come on the 9th so we should be fine...if you want to do it. If not, I will give it a go (and its no problem if you don't want to or we don't get to it). So what do you watch in the mornings since Saved by the Bell isn't good? Isn't Roseanne or Fresh Prince on at that time? They are usually funny if you haven't seen them lately. They can get old quick though. I wish they would put Growing Pains on; I used to love that show.

The only water I'm by lately is the washing machine and bathtub with the girls. Well, a girl can dream, right!!! Hey Mark- enjoy your time! You deserve it!!
Bernadette- How's your mom today? I hope she's feeling better! And, hope Bob is feeling stronger each day, too. How about you?? Feeling vertically challenged today? :o)
Sarah- Glad the computer is up and running. Hey, I have a question for you...When you come to visit, would you give Mia a haircut? I told her you cut hair (and that Aunt Peggy did, too) and since she needs a cut, she asked if you could do it. I told her I'd ask you to bring your special hair scissors and we'll see. If you don't want to, it's no big deal...but, since she thought it was so cool that you cut hair, I promised her I'd ask. Her hair is easy, all one length, straight across her shoulders. i hope that everyone is having alot of fun. my friend justin and myself are having a great time in florida...i heard there where alot of cancellations and alot of snow today so be safe out there justin, katy's friend beth ann and i were hanging out by the pool today, soaking up some rays and swimming....it was alot of fun...even though the water was pretty chilly...
bernadette- i'm glad that bob is doing better...maybe its time to find a new doctor if he can't decifer what pneumonia is...i don't know maybe i just hold people to a high standard...lol

That's gonna leave a mark...
Hi cousins,
Hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to pop in and say hi. Things here are the same, studying in the morning, hanging out with the kids in the afternoon. When I left this morning, the sidewalks are a sheet of ice. I thought they were just wet until I almost fell. And this weather is giving me bad sinus headaches.
Studying is going ok but I took a practice test and didn't well. But the guy helping me said that the study program that issued the test makes it harder to scare you into studying more and into continuing with their program. Made me feel a little better but I still want to do better.
Bernadette--Glad Bob is feeling better. He must feel pretty good to have the motivation to exercise. I hope your mom is feeling better too! Where's Josh? He posted a couple times and never came back. Are you busy at work today?
Sarah--where are you this morning? I hope you had good coffee today. And a good episode of Saved by the Bell too!
Susan--I know you are busy but we miss you here!

Where is everyone? I hate being the one to post after the last post yesterday was by me too, but I figured I would get the ball rolling.
So Bob and I need to give our videographer an invitation so he can include it in the wedding video and believe it or not, we could not find any between us or our parents! I just spoke to his grandma and she thinks she has one, so at least I can borrow hers. I was almost positive we had one somewhere but none of us could find one. You would think our parents would keep one for a keepsake ;) Oh well. Kristy and Amber- he hopes to have it done this week so hopefully we can watch it saturday or sunday when you are here!
Bob's doctor changed his diagnosis and said he does have pneumonia. He went back to work today and even worked out last night so he is feeling a ton better, which is good. I think my mom is still sick... :(

I was called "vertically challenged" today by the photographer taking our departments' picture for the University yearbook. There were only four of us for our picture, and the guy taking it asks "ok, who in this group is vertically challenged" and looks at us and picks out me (5'5" with my boots on) and another woman (maybe 5'3" with shoes) and has us sit on stools in front of the other two but then decides to have her in the front and center and me in the back with the not so vertically challenged people. LOL. it was funny to me but he was strange and could be construed as insulting.
Anyway.... i am looking forward to eating my left over wings for dinner tonight. I have a meeting so will be getting home around 7:30 and bob will probably have eaten already.
What happened to our Qu of the Days? We should do one for tomorrow since today is almost over.

Hi everyone. I want to set the date for the picnic this summer so those trying to come in from out of town, Spain, for instance, can get their tickets soon if its cheaper.
How about June 28th-29th (the main day would be saturday, and people can tent out if they want until sunday). Anyone forsee a problem with this weekend? Once we pick the date, we can let grandma and grandpa and everyone know so they can mark their calendars!

Just another Manic Monday
I know, its a song, but it feels that way to me today being Monday. Not so manic, but its monday and my first 5-day work week since the week before Christmas! I know, suck it up!Its been nice wth random days off.
Jenn- we wish you could have made it to Mazz's too. It was fun. Mark pours a mean drink, and their food is real good too! It was nice to talk to you for a few minutes sunday morning, too.
Sunday a bunch of us went for chicken wings at this place, Sal's. Once we finally found the phone number (props to Grandpa for finding it) and knew what time it was open, me, Lauren, Mark, Susan, and Jeff stuffed ourselves with chicken wings. Well, not susan, she stuck to fries and celery! Real good wings though!
So at work this afternoon we have "yearbook" pictures. Each department has to go have thir pictures taken, and the real "important people" get their own picture, like deans, vp's and presidents, etc. I forgot that it was today but like my outfit. Black pants, purple sweater, and purple headband!
Bob was going to work today but me and his parents convinved him to stay home since he still does not know what his infection was. he is feeling pretty good but still flemmy. he has a doc appt this afternoon so hopefully the rest of his results will be in then.
I got to work about 25 minutes early for some reason. I got in my car this a.m. and looked at the clock and realized it was only 8am and usually i leave 8:10-8:20am. Oh well.
Amber, Kristy, and Katy...less than one week to go and you will all be here! Yay!

Bob is doing a little better each day. i think i posted before that now they are saying its not pneumonia but another infection but they won't know what it is until they run more bloodwork. he has no fever and is not having night sweats, but is still coughing and low on energy. Hopefully he will be back to his normal self soon.
No ring yet. They finally called yesterday saying it was done but i did not feel like driving there after work to get it so i will go today sometime.
my mom is sick now...stuffed up, sinusy. Poor momma...I will stop by there later to see how she is and pick up a copy of my wedding invitation to give to the videographer so he can finish the wedding video! He thinks it can be done by next weekend so we can watch it with Kristy and Amber who I think made several appearances in the video along with drunk Laura. GOOD TIMES!

How's everyone's Friday? Loving today- Sunshine, a few minutes to myself right now (Mia's at school & Gianna is playing quietly.) and thinking about the weekend. There's nothing like the Friday feeling!
Susan, I wanted to ask you if it would be easier for me to mail a check to you. I haven't forgotten about helping with Lauren's trip, but I didn't know how soon you needed it. I can send it out tomorrow if it's easier to get it now rather than waiting until your trip here. When Mark mentioned it the other day, I thought I'd better ask so you don't think I forgot.
Hey Uncle Dave & Grace!!! Hope the house hunting goes great! Enjoy looking and be sure to pick out a house that will fit 18 nieces & nephews! Look for a house with a barbeque grill since I'm sure that Mark could hook us up with some good grillin' and a comfy couch for Katy to eat handfuls of Grandma's hummus on while at your place. Also, a big yard because Bernadette and Kristy will be breaking beer bottles over people's heads and we don't want them to ruin your carpets. A piano for me and I'll supply the earplugs for all! Check for living space for pets since Sarah will bring her ferrets and Tricia will bring her dog Libby, whose bark is higher sounding than Mariah Carey's singing voice. Get good insurance, too because Susan likes to fall down stairs and with all the glass from the broken beer bottles, well, you know how that goes. But, don't worry, when we visit we'll be really quiet. I mean, have you ever known our family to get even a little loud???

"um i will" lol so here i am, coffee ferrets and tv...only i am done with this saved by the bell show...college years again...so i am waiting for charmed to come on at 8...anybody ever watch that show? its about the three witches...pretty good (better than the college years of sbtb) susan and i used to watch it when we were younger.

Mark- glad to hear about the grilling...but indoors? what do you have, a g.f. grill or something? Bob is hardcore and grills outside in all types of weather...except when he is sick with pneumonia that is! Which brings me to my next point... I will be coming to grandma's tonight since he is feeling a little better and i do not feel as bad leaving him on his own for dinner.

Sorry for the absence on the blog-- i've been back to working out so it is hard to fit school, work,and working out into a day...today in class I am feeling the aftermath of pushing your body to the limit-- especially since I went running with Kristy and John on Tuesday night and it started puoring down rain after the first mile and a half-- and of course I take a fall on the cement-- gotta luv it---I trully think John and Kristy had a plan and pushed me down- but I have no conclusive evidence--LOL and then yesterday I was doing to many squats- lunges- and deadlifts and officially look like somebody ran me over-- but on a happier note---WE ARE COMING TO BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!
Kristy-- your never gonna be jello---lol had a blast on tuesday hope we make that a part of our agenda!! have u been sitting here long? (dumb server question)
Mark-- Everybody whose anybody will be at the slumber party-- all I know is one of those bottles is for your lush cousin Katy--lol just playin--- We will have to begin the pre-party in FLorida because thats what its all about---- Kristy and Amber have bad ass seats for the sabres game-- so we r on our own -- we might have to streak on the ice--hahaha depending on how much tailgating we do

Good morning cousins! How is everyone? Things here in Pa. are fine. We haven't had any snow, but it's so cold. Sunny today (sorry to rub it in, Bern) and it's supposed to get warm over the weekend, around 40 degrees.
We've been hanging out the past few days since Gianna's been caughing alot again. I hate running errands if I think one of the girls are sick. I wouldn't want to be dragged to stores sick, so we've been home the past 2 days. I actually have lots of groceries to get, but I don't know if we'll go this afternoon. Isn't it funny how one's immune system can be so good, then once you get sick with something strong, you seem to get sick with everything? That happened to all of us last year when Mia started preschool. She brought home every sickness and we all got them. The girls were sick and at the doctors every month from October thru May. This year, it's just been minor colds, so we're thankful.

Sarah- I saw SBTB this morning. Good one! Kelly fell in love with Screech. I'm so glad you didn't get hurt the other day when you almost got hit by that car! Some people are such idiots! I think people are always in too much of a hurry to get places and drive out of control. I'm happy you were fine.
Susan- Sweetie, you must be busy! When reading thru the posts on the days I missed, I realized that you haven't been on much. This time of year must be so stressful for you. I hope all is going well and you find ways to leave your work at work and relax.
Bernadette- That movie you saw with you mom looks so cute. Whenever the commercial comes on I think I want to go see it. And, I'm really hungry right now so when you mentioned green beans sauteed in olive oil with garlic and salt & pepper, it made my growling stomach scream!! I love beans like that!
Mark- I still haven't tried out the new music site, but I will over the weekend. My computer has had a virus in it for months and I think we're going to have to buy a protection disk since everything we've tried doesn't remove it. It's been getting slower and slower and I just hope it doesn't crash. Glad you had Monday off. Hope you enjoyed your freetime! You deserve it!
Kristy- Have you been sore at all this week? Mike and I were wondering what speed you walk & run at when you're on the treadmill. Mike gets front shin splints so he's been starting slow and trying to speed it up, but his legs really lock up. He's been walking alot lately and paying attention to his speed and asked about your race again last night. You've been so inspiring to us!! I love the story about "c'mon sweetie, you can do it!" and hearing Grandma's voice. So sweet!

For ? of the day from the other day: My favorite veggies are broccoli, cauliflower and green beans. There's lots I don't like, but there's so many I can't think. Asparagus is one I don't like. Brussel spouts, too. Lots, I don't like. Actually, most of the time I only eat them because they are good for me. I'm not a huge fan except for the main 3 I mentioned. I really don't like carrots ( I know, everyone likes carrots!) but I force myself to eat them.
Well, I have lots to do. Mia cleaned her room yesterday because I told her it had to be cleaned before our cousins visit. The visit is a few weeks away and I think it will take her that long to clean it!!!

There is absolutely no sun out this morning. the weather got real bad here last night. bob's sister had called to make sure we got home all right since she drove in white out. the scanner said (yes, we have a police scanner) there were a lot of cars off the road... bob left early because he is sick, and i left work a little early because i have a long drive and they had a hzardous weather alert that sounded scary!
Poor bob is still in bed (he is usually out the door by 4:55am) and he has big meeting with other plastic manufacturers (??) in WNY and maybe canada that he initiated and today would be his first one, and his company is hosting. he must be really sick to miss it. poor thing. i hope i don't catch it.

trish- tell that jerk to give you the tape and tell him you'll bring it back when you want....tell him your cousin is gonna show up with a bat for his knees if he has beef...lol....
Slumber Party- i bought a box of lake niagara wine and a couple 1.75s of 3olives cherry, a litre of rum, a litre of cuervo...i'm gonna get some beer for my vending machine...and going to purchase some hamburgers and chicken for some grilling....not sure who is coming....the more time that passes, the less people it seems, are going to come...but no worries, for those fo us that will be there we will have a great time, and those that aren't able to make it will have to hear about how much fun it was for years to come...lol....
susan and i are going to visit lauren in november in Spain...not sure if she let anyone know yet, but i'm gonna put it in first...lol....we're gonna stay for a week, so it should be a really sweet time...lauren told us she's gonna have the whole week planned, so i'm certain we are going to have avery memorable trip....
ps...if we can get susan the money as soon as possible for the airfare helper for lauren it would be supremely beneficial....

Yay- Lauren is here. Was her flight on time? We got dumped on with snow around 5pm so I was worried she might be delayed. I was with my mom in depew. I got back home around 6:15pm and niagara county got almost nada. I hear we are in for another dumping today. The walk to my office was cold and blustery. The drive home should be a lot of fun. What are the plans this week with Lauren here and Aunt Donna/Olivia coming in thursday. Lauren-I realized I was typing about you in the third person. I guess I figured Susan or Sarah would see it first and respond! Of course, if you read this, please respond :) Glad you are here.
Sarah- me and my mom went to OCB for lunch yesterday. We were hoping you were working but you weren't :( We missed you. We also saw 27 dresses...cute and funny...defintitely a "chick flick."
Well, poor Bob is sick again. Sinus infection or upper resp (is that the same thing?) I think he caught it from his sister or neice. I was around them too, and holding Annaleha, so I hope I don't catch it. He is almost never sick so since the wedding he has been sick 3 times. He had a cold during the wedding, the flu when we both had it before Christmas, and now this. I would say its my cooking, but we share cooking responsibilities... so I guess it still could be my cooking! Oops.

Lauren--welcome home! I hope your trip was a good one. The very cold temps were probably a bit of shock to your system. What do you guys have planned for today?
Sarah--I'm going to start calling you Preppy as a reference to your love of Saved by the Bell. Hope you have some very hot coffee to keep you warm.
Susan--do you have to go to work today? You probably can't take any days off right now. I thought of you last night when I had Boca Chicken nuggets for dinner. They really are good. Did I tell you that I also had Boca sausage for breakfast the other day? They were good too but after the first bite I thought that while it was good, it tasted nothing like sausage but by the time I was done (I ate about 6 of them) I think I prefer them.
Bernadette--I think the son (or maybe brother, depending on age) of your contractor is in my review class in Philadelphia. This kid is a rep for the company and so he is in charge of starting the videos for the taped lecture and checking our ids and so on. Anyway, I had to ask him for a video of one of the lectures (you can borrow them) and he was so humdrum. The rule is you have to bring the tape back the next day. I explained that I don't go everyday so can I make arrangements to keep it longer or something and he said "well you have to bring it back and it has to come back here to the morning class NOT the night class". I was like wow, hold on happy...never said I wanted to keep the tape and who the heck said anything about the night class? Anyway, I found a time when I go two days in a row so I made it work. But, then he realized he brought the wrong book for class (we have one book that is all outlines that follow the lecture, he forgot that one) and so I laughed to myself...ahhh, karma....
Well, I am hiding in my room trying to study. It is so cold out that I didn't want to leave to go to the library. I told everyone to pretend I am not home. So far its working out well.

You and me together, through the days and nights, I don't worry cause every thing's gonna be alright. No one, No one, No one, can get in the way of what I'm feeling.............
I love Alicia Keys she is the greatest, I can not get enough of her album.
Well enough of that I know you are all waiting for news on my race. Well I did it I ran all 5 miles without stopping, I ran it in about an hour and four minutes. It was great, I felt awesome after I did it. It was an amazing feeling. It did not start like that though, I got up at 4:30am after going to sleep about 2am cause I was nervous and could not sleep, when I woke up I felt like I was going to throw up, then I had to meet Stef, John, and George at Capognas so we could ride down to the race together. We got to the race, and let me clarify the weather for everyone I know you all are up north and it is freezing there, but it was freezing to me yesterday morning. It was about 40 degrees but we ran over the causeway to the beach, and it was windy as hell, so the feels like temperature was about 25 degrees. We were miserable, we were all saying how we were not getting out of the car, we were not doing this, (and then it was dark and the sun had not come out yet also, I forgot that part) Well we started anyway, and about 5 minutes after we started the sun came out so it got a little better, (but the wind was ridiculous) The race went from Coachman Park over the new bridge to the beach down the causeway to the beach and back. The worst part of it was the bridge going over in the beginning was ok but then we had to come back and go over it again. It was about mile 4 when we had to go over the bridge again so by then my body was exhausted. George and John stayed right with me, they kept me going thanks to them or I would have stopped especially on that bridge. Great story when we were on the bridge. I was feeling like I could just fall over and I did not think I could keep going, I was yelling at George, John and the Bridge, I literally was screaming I was saying Fu@# this bridge I can't F%$#ing do this I have to stop, and George was yelling back Fu@# this bridge you are going to beat this bridge, then out of no where, we come up to this little old lady who I want to say was about 60, 65, at this point we are about half way up the bridge, and as we are yelling obscenities at each other and the bridge this cute little old lady (who was walking the race,) turns around and says to me come on sweetie you can do it, and at that moment I saw grandma, and that is the voice I heard, and I kept going. I got to thank her after the crude obscene run up the bridge. We all laughed about that afterwards. I know you will all get a kick out of that one.
Oh and just to clarify, my buddy Stef did not run the 5 mile she ran the half marathon which is 13.1 miles so that is why she was not with me and the guys. Otherwise she would have been right there with me too.
Thank you all for the encouragement and the messages and all the prayers you all helped me get through it too. I love you all so much and all your faces were running through my mind the whole race. I can't wait to see you all in a couple weeks. Talk to you all soon.

George and John stayed right with me, they kept me going thanks to them or I would have stopped especially on that bridge. Great story when we were on the bridge. I was feeling like I could just fall over and I did not think I could keep going, I was yelling at George, John and the Bridge, I literally was screaming I was saying Fu@# this bridge I can't F%$#ing do this I have to stop, and George was yelling back Fu@# this bridge you are going to beat this bridge, then out of no where, we come up to this little old lady who I want to say was about 60, 65, at this point we are about half way up the bridge, and as we are yelling obscenities at each other and the bridge this cute little old lady (who was walking the race,) turns around and says to me come on sweetie you can do it, and at that moment I saw grandma, and that is the voice I heard, and I kept going. I got to thank her after the crude obscene run up the bridge. We all laughed about that afterwards. I know you will all get a kick out of that one.
Oh and just to clarify, my buddy Stef did not run the 5 mile she ran the half marathon which is 13.1 miles so that is why she was not with me and the guys. Otherwise she would have been right there with me too.
Thank you all for the encouragement and the messages and all the prayers you all helped me get through it too. I love you all so much and all your faces were running through my mind the whole race. I can't wait to see you all in a couple weeks. Talk to you all soon.

Funny thing happened. one of the guys comes knocking on the door (inside the house, kind of hard to explain if you have not seen it, but there re doors separating the upstairs from the downstairs currently, works out nice for when I am here and they are working in terms of privacy) anyway, one of the guys comes knocking on the door where i am so i open it and he asks if he can fill up this bucket with water (no upstairs bathroom yet, hopefully this week) i say yes and he looks at me (in my pjs) and says, no work today, huh? i was like, nope, and he was like "thats too bad" i was like, no, i am glad. then he was like, back tomorrow though, right?
I think they feel funny if i am home! or maybe he thinks i don't get paid on holidays or something? i thought it was funny, in any case. i also asked if they could paint the ceiling in our bedroom where the one guy stepped through (they fixed the ceiling but it is still off color) and he said they would wait til i leave for the day and do it ( i told him i would be gone in about an hour) so hopefully our bedroom ceiling will be all one color by tonight!
i will spend the day with my mom. i think we will go to a movie and eat and maybe shop if there is time.
Tricia- yes, i think it is the wegmans pitas they get. so small, soft, and de-lish!!
Kristy's race went well. i talked tgo her yesterday afternoon. I will let her tell you about it though. hopefully she posts today.

everytime i scratch my nails down someone else's back, i hope you feel it
now can you feel it!...haha gotta love alanis! well the parents are here this morning, didnt realize martin luther king day was the kind of holiday where there is no school... oh well! my dad made coffee lol so its all good. its not that i dont want them here, its just that i like my mornings.
well i hope everyones weekend went wonderfully. i had a pretty stressful moment on friday. me and the ferrets were chilling, well zoey was sleeping most of the day. she got up and came over and laid right next to my feet. so i picked her up and she was just laying there. she would go from breathing really heavy to really slowly and she was just staring at me...she would move to really close to my face and just lay there. after like 45 min she got up and just ran away...but it really scared me. shes fine now and i dont know what went wrong or what was happening.
well anyways saved by the bell is back to normal...well the good ones. zack tricked everyone into being mean to slater so he will move to hawaii.

Dora, Dora, Dora, the Explorer...
Hey, its a song even if it hasn't been released to radio stations.
Just checking in to say hi. Friday's class was uneventful but I am now a whiz at Wills and Trusts! :-)
I am making a new recipe tonight that sounds interesting yet it doesn't sound great but the reviews were all very good (I got it online). I thought we'd give it a try and see how it goes. If its any good, I'll come back and tell you what it was.
Jenn--enjoy Princesses. Daniel saw the commercial yesterday and the prince was dancing with the princess and the Genie from Aladdin was in it too. He said he wanted to go. I tried to get tickets but the only ones left for the show this afternoon weren't very good seats. We'll wait and go to Sesame Street.
Bernadette--We talked about wheat pitas the other day. I wanted to tell you that I buy Thomas's and they are good but I happened to pick up Wegman's mini wheat pita's at the store yesterday and these things are awesome! They are about 1/4 the size of a pita and they are the softest pitas I ever had. So good. They go great with my hummus!
Kristy--how was the run? Its about 10 degrees here, I hope you have perfect running weather.
Lauren--have a great trip tomorrow/today (you may have already started it). Can't wait to see you!
I'm going to relax while Andrew is sleeping and Daniel is watching t.v.

I am at work, mandatory Saturdays now...I am just about to leave and just bring my laptop home with me...gotta work Sundays now too...
So, if anyone happened to watch Sports Center this morning, you might have caught the number one spot on their list---the Buffalo Sabres winning 10-1!!! It was a great game, and thanks for your hospitality Mark!!
Oh, about the masses for Aunt Deb--the family actually received a lot of gifts from people who were going to have masses said for her..I am not sure of the dates, but I am sure my Mom would know. I will get back to you on that (or Mark can, whoever finds out first).

My house is a total wreck since I've been on slo-mo the past 2 days, but no worry. I really don't care that it looks like a wrecking ball went thru each room. It'll get done eventually~
My back is alot better today than yesterday. It's still sore and hard to get comfortable while sitting or sleeping, but I can walk without pain so that's a huge difference.
Kristy: I remember that song- I Ain't Missing You at All by John Waite. Ah, gotta love the '80's music. How about Sister Christian by Night Ranger? This is the real To Fly??? song. The actual words are "you're motoring. What's your price for flight?" and that's when a 3 year old Amber says, "Kristy, to fly???" while crunching on cheese doodles. You know, we are the original Fly Girls!!!

Mark: Here's a question for you?? A long time ago, you gave me the name Morpheous for music. Got any new ones or another that's free? Morpheous was awesome the past 2 years or so, but lately it's been messing up my computer big time. I think it's time for a new site.
Susan: You fell today?? Are you okay? How's your hand? I hope okay. We had some icey roads last night, but nothing too bad. I made it to my piano lesson which was fun. And, I think that's awesome that you guys are going to see the band Stand. Aunt Debbie will be smiling down!
Bernadette: I wish I taught piano lessons...maybe someday, but I take lessons on Thursday nights. I started last September and really love it. I'm working on the song O Sole Mio, which I've renamed Oh Crazy Mia! I sing those words to the tune and she comes running in screaming, "I'm not crazy!" (but we all know she really is!) Oh, I'm glad you clarified that the bottles you and Kristy are going to break over Dave's teacher's head are going to be empty. We definitely don't want to waste any good beer!!
Sarah: You mean they teased you with a good Saved by the Bell then went right to the college years? How dare they! That's it, I'm writing a letter to TBS and complaining that they skipped right over all the good shows and my cousin Sarah is really, really mad. They will do something or we're gonna have to take Tricia's advice and watch Sesame Street!!

So, I have a question that I'm not sure who to ask, so I'll ask you all...kind of a sad question, but have been wondering about this for a few weeks. Does anyone know if there will be future masses held in memoriam of Aunt Debbie? If there is, I'd like to try to plan to be there. Also, we would like to go to the cemetery during one of our trips, too. Mike wasn't at the funeral mass and he's asked about going.
Okay, on to something funny... everyday, Mia & Gianna race to get the phone when it rings so they can hand it to me. They don't answer it, just grab it and bring it to me. (yes, I have them trained quite well. I can't wait 'til they can do laundry! j/k!!) So, the phone rings and I'm in the kitchen. Mia gets it before Gianna, which makes Gianna scream this loud piercing scream. Just as Gianna stops, Mia rounds the corner of the kitchen and wipes out on the floor just like she's sliding into home plate. She looks up and Gianna's standing there looking down at her. With all her might, Mia reaches her hand up with the phone and says, "Gianna, don't touch it. I did this to give Mommy the phone, not you, you big screamer." Isn't sisterhood wonderful! I just called Tricia a big screamer the other day. It's love, it's a sisterly thing. Nothing better than being called a big screamer from your big sister.
And, with that, I have to go decide what's for dinner. I wait until last minute all the time. I hate making dinner. Hope Mike gets home any minute....then he'll make it :o)

My house is a total wreck since I've been on slo-mo the past 2 days, but no worry. I really don't care that it looks like a wrecking ball went thru each room. It'll get done eventually~
My back is alot better today than yesterday. It's still sore and hard to get comfortable while sitting or sleeping, but I can walk without pain so that's a huge difference.
Kristy: I remember that song- I Ain't Missing You at All by John Waite. Ah, gotta love the '80's music. How about Sister Christian by Night Ranger? This is the real To Fly??? song. The actual words are "you're motoring. What's your price for flight?" and that's when a 3 year old Amber says, "Kristy, to fly???" while crunching on cheese doodles. You know, we are the original Fly Girls!!!

Mark: Here's a question for you?? A long time ago, you gave me the name Morpheous for music. Got any new ones or another that's free? Morpheous was awesome the past 2 years or so, but lately it's been messing up my computer big time. I think it's time for a new site.
Susan: You fell today?? Are you okay? How's your hand? I hope okay. We had some icey roads last night, but nothing too bad. I made it to my piano lesson which was fun. And, I think that's awesome that you guys are going to see the band Stand. Aunt Debbie will be smiling down!
Bernadette: I wish I taught piano lessons...maybe someday, but I take lessons on Thursday nights. I started last September and really love it. I'm working on the song O Sole Mio, which I've renamed Oh Crazy Mia! I sing those words to the tune and she comes running in screaming, "I'm not crazy!" (but we all know she really is!) Oh, I'm glad you clarified that the bottles you and Kristy are going to break over Dave's teacher's head are going to be empty. We definitely don't want to waste any good beer!!
Sarah: You mean they teased you with a good Saved by the Bell then went right to the college years? How dare they! That's it, I'm writing a letter to TBS and complaining that they skipped right over all the good shows and my cousin Sarah is really, really mad. They will do something or we're gonna have to take Tricia's advice and watch Sesame Street!!

So, I have a question that I'm not sure who to ask, so I'll ask you all...kind of a sad question, but have been wondering about this for a few weeks. Does anyone know if there will be future masses held in memoriam of Aunt Debbie? If there is, I'd like to try to plan to be there. Also, we would like to go to the cemetery during one of our trips, too. Mike wasn't at the funeral mass and he's asked about going.

Be careful driving to all your destinations today, the roads are really really icy. All my Buffalo folks be careful!! The roads don't look bad, but there is black ice everywhere . Well, that was kind of bias--I want everyone to be careful driving!!
Alright, anyways, Sarah you didn't tell the parking lot story--I guess you are saving it for me to tell!! So guys, after Sarah and I walked out of the restuarant today, the first step I took onto the parking lot I wiped out...I didn't see the ice!!! haha I caught myself before my whole body hit, but I did manage to hurt my hand......well, we thought it was funny!

Got home from class a little while ago. I am in dire need of some water but Daniel won't give me a second to do anything.
Mark--That would be awesome if we can all go for Thai. I teach on Thursday nights, is there any other night that might work for you? We'll see what we can do.

I Get So Weak.......
Bernadette that is SWV, what I need from you is understanding is Xscape, my random knowledge of stupid things comes in handy from time to time.
Sorry for being absent for so long. After Bernadette and Aunt Peg went home I got a nasty cold and have basically been trying to sleep and get better, and also trying to train because I run my first race on Sunday.... It is a five mile race and I am not looking forward to it cause I still don't feel 100 percent, I do feel better than I did but still not there. It is supposed to be in the 40's on Sunday and it is supposed to be rainy too.. It is a lot up hill too cause we run over the new bridge to the beach, (Tuesday night me and John ran the bridge just so there will be no surprises on Sunday we ran 1 mile over and 1 mile back, it was tough but no reason why I can't do it again) Well I missed a lot so I have been trying to read everything. I will come back with more later. Right now I have to finish some laundry and eat dinner. I am going to bed early tonight, I am pooped.
Jenn sorry to hear about your back I hope you feel better soon. Try not to do anything crazy take it easy you will heal quicker. Keep taking Advil it is an anti-inflammatory so it will help. You can take up to 4 at a time as long as they are 200 milligrams a piece (that is prescription strength) My dad has always told me that is a safe amount to take as long as it is not for a long period of time. Good Luck with it..

Funny thing happened during the firedrill. we were all outside along with about 100 students (We work in a rez hall) and this girl went up to this otehr girl and pulled her pants down. luckily, she had underwear or something under it but she screamed and then went after the girl who did it. By the end they were both laughing, sort of, but she looked all red and might have started crying. the four of us (all females) were like, wow. we did not do that in college!

Dave will talk to the first adviser's manager tomorrow. He just told me more of what the guy told him. Seems the first guy really screwed him. Dave called during week 1 of the class and asked to drop and the adviser told him to wait until after two weeks, which Dave did. Now, if he had dropped after week 1, nothing would be owed but because he dropped after two weeks, he owes the full amount. Totally not fair.
By the way, tell Mike his welcome and maybe next time I come over I won't have to stay on the porch! haha...

Meanwhile, Dave took two weeks of a class and then dropped the class after talking to his adviser who told him that he would not be charged any money to drop and then take it over in a few weeks. He even called the adviser back to double check that there would not be any charges. Well, today he gets a call from a financial adviser saying he has to pay $850 when he restarts the classes. He explained that he was told otherwise and the financial adviser even put the other adviser on three way. The first adviser said he did not remember telling him that (of course). Now Dave is royally pissed and me as well. Does not seem right to me...

sorry I'm boring, I didn't put any thought into coming up with a song...but I'm still here Bern!! It is a lot quieter today than yesterday..I just went to lunch with my boss (he's hot by the way) haha We went to this place called Aroma. It was very good! But now I am not in the mood to work anymore, which I surprisingly was this morning!! How's work going today for you Bern? A lot of clients?

How is everyone? Where's all the chatter? I missed yesterday, but here I am. Let me tell you, I am a hurting pup! I pulled a muscle in the side of my back this morning while lifting Gianna and I can not move! Ugh, I'm not kidding. Mia had to help me off the couch and off the floor. I tried laying on the floor to even my back out, which felt good...but, how long can I just lay on the floor?!? Anyway, a bunch of advil later, I'm hoping that it eases by tonight since I have a piano lesson that I don't want to cancel. Sitting here even hurts! Mike offered to come home, but really, there's nothing that has to be done today so I can play games and sit with the girls. I've already done their hair and about 1,000 dolls hair, too!
So this morning I told Mia and Gianna that the visit from all her cousins is coming soon. Her first question was: Today??? I told her in a few weeks only. She said, well I better go get ready. I asked what she had to do (stupid me thinking she'd say something great like clean her room!) she said "Mommy, I have to get out all my games and get my Barbies ready. And, I have to get out all the blankets and pillows so they can sleep on the couch. Hey, Mommy, I can stay up late when they come, like maybe 9:00??" I told her we'll see. (my answer to everything!) She was quite excited so I showed her how many days on the calendar and she at least calmed down enough to brush her teeth. I then turned to Gianna and said, "what do you think about our cousin visit coming soon?" She said so softly, "I think extra pretty good." That was so cute!
Ugh, I have to move....okay, I'm back. This is the longest I've had a pulled muscle hurt so strong! I think I'll fold clothes and watch t.v. I'm hoping the girls play nicely so I can get something accomplished today!
Bernadette: that's so nice that you & your parents went for dinner last night. I bet they loved having home overnight!
Sarah: I saw Saved by the Bell this morning. I saw the beginning of the one when Zak & Screech wired Jessie's room during a sleepover. I had to turn it when I saw that Mia was watching. That's all I need is her thinking it's normal to have someone climb in a window and listen to what's going on! But, it's so cute.
Susan: Glad you didn't leave your light on! Doesn't it drive you crazy when you think something was left plugged in or left on? I drove home from work once because I thought I left the iron on. I didn't, but it would've made me nervous all day.
Krazy Katy: 2a.m.?? How did you post at 2a.m. and get up so early today? This is one of the many reasons why I named you Krazy Katy! Better you than me, my dear! Thanks for the shout-out, You Krazy Kid! Oh, and I'd love to be stuck on a bridge in traffic! You should have gotten out of the car and sang all the songs posted on this blog. Everyone would've gotten out of your way for sure!
Tricia: How's Daniel's sore throat today? My girls seem better during the day, but stuffy at night. I thought it was all gone, but it magically came back this past Monday. I told Mike about the sneaker place you mentioned and he said, Hey, tell her thanks. See, she's not that bad! You know him!
Well, my backside is sore again. Time to move! Hey, that should be the name of an exercise song....Time to move, my ass hurts. Time to move, time to groove. I can hear it now! A definite billion copies sold in a week!
I'll come back when I'm a little more normal...hopefully soon :o)

Tricia and Susan- I love Thai food so we should go when we are all together. I have had tofu with peanut sauce before which was excellent. Paid Thai rocks too (with shrimp or tofu). Yum.

I am here at last -- my favorite place school, and traffic was disgusting because of the airport-- I don't know about you but I love sitting on top of the Howard Franklin (FLA bridge to the highway) and not being able to go anywhere(very sarcastic) and above all of that my favorite class of the day is cancelled-- I luv my performance class and my teacher rocks-- but u win some u lose some ladies and gentlemen.
If I could give a shout out to Bern once again for the title of my last blog-- nothing but love to the cousins-- peace love and happiness

good morning all! the saved by the bell days are back to the good ones! well not the really good ones but jesse and kelly are back. and ms bliss is gone! lol it was the episode where zack dresses up as a girl named bambi to go out with screech. well anyways zoey is beating up cooper again. she is hissing at him while chasing him! i feel so bad. and it couldnt have been a dream beacuse when i woke them up this morning they were sleeping in the same hammock. so she is just being a b*tch...
had to stop writing to get some coffee... mmmm coffee! lol i got this new creamer...limited edition...its called marshmallow mocha! so yummy!

Hi everyone!! The office is going to be so empty today, so I will definitely be able to be on here a little more!! I hope everybody had a good night...I unfortunately watched the Sabres lose again..how pathetic, 10 games in a row! Oh well, we will come back! So anyways, I am so excited for these next few weeks!! I can't believe Lauren is coming home Monday!!! And then my Florida people are coming!! Life can't get any better!! haha So do the PA people know if they can make it? I asked Steph if she wanted to come to Scranton with us, and she said a lot of people from work are taking off that weekend but she will try to get off... so hopefully that will happen! Alright, I guess I'll start some work now and see who pops on here next!!

Bernadette--not sure why it said trish at the bottom but I am guessing it is a typo of some sort. I only heard a little of Sia..not sure what I thought but her sound reminded me of Anna Nalick and another clip I heard reminded me of Fiona Apple.

So I am still at work, and I was planning on working late, but I really don't feel like it today....so that's why I'm on here!!
I had some delicious vegetable tofu pad thai today for lunch...tofu is delicious Tricia!! You know what I'm talking about Bern!! I have never made it myself, but I always order the pad thai from this Thai restaurant by my work and the tofu in it is great!!
So my healthy eating has kind of been put on a standstill lately, but I will tell you one thing I'm still doing--I carry around a 3 liter jug of water with me every day and have to drink it all by the end of the day. I do this because I normally don't drink any water at all, so having this with me really keeps me up on it--I think it really helps to keep me healthy though, because I normally end up losing weight while I'm doing it! Just a suggestion...
Alright, I am billing my time to a client now so I probably should do something for them!! haha

Bob is on an all day road trip for work. He and a few employees had to go to Cleveland then Colombus to meet with companies that, and I might word this wrong, manufacture Confer Plastics' goods. It is a lot of driving in one day. Poor Bob! In case I have not shared this yet on here, you can go to his company's website to see what type of plastics they make. Well, I need to wrap some things up before leaving for the day. Talk to you all later or tomorrow.

Susan--those nuggets were great! I really liked them. My salad was ok but not great b/c I didn't care for the dressing but the nuggets were great!

all ac/dc songs can get anybody ready to pound the weightroom....it is intense workout tunage...lol...
jenn- i always suggest New Balance for walking or running...they are really comfortable good shoes....if anyone has ever owned a pair they will agree....i want to know mia's reaction to hearing about the girls coming in as well...she would prolly do something really funny...
trish- tell that girl to f' off...she has to do the assignments, and if she asked you at assignment 2 or 3 it would be different than at the end of the semester...i also am gonna suggest talking to the dean to let him/her know of the escalating situation...tell him/her the assignment wasn't handed in on time...it was the final...and give him/her the students name and phone number...just to avoid anything that may or may not happen....thats my suggestion....
bernadette- i meant month next month....and yes i got my mind on my money and my money on my mind....lol....gin 'n juice....i also suggest punching the contractor in the mouth and saying now you have a reason to be unpleasant around me....lol...that'll teach him
