Where is everyone?

Hey guys and girls,

What is everyone up to? Not too much going on here. I just gave the boys baths and I am getting ready to put them to bed. Then I have freedom!!!! Well, not quite but at least I get to watch what I want on tv!

Well, I had three classes end and now I am down to three. It is so much easier. I do have to prepare a syllabus for a new class I am teaching in the fall. Not just new to me, but new to the college too. It is a humanities class and should be small. I am hoping to take them on a field trip or two. Did anyone take a humanities class (art, music, literature) and have any ideas to share? Or likes and dislikes?

In other news, we might be getting a second dog. Libby, the dog I wanted to get rid of, has improved so much. She calmed down and is turning out to be really great. I think we bonded! Anyway, one of my cousins has been down here a few times with her dog. We put the two dogs in our yard and let them play. Libby did great but more importantly, while the other dog was here, she didn't bark at all. So we have been considering getting her a friend. We have been looking at dogs online for awhile now but waiting for the right time. We went to the humane society over the weekend to check out a few dogs we liked online and I spotted this doggie that wasn't online. He is a yellow lab (Libby is a chocolate lab). He was very sweet and cute. But he was being neutered today so we couldn't bring him home before tomorrow. They also told us that he may need some teeth pulled. When we saw him, Dave thought he was about 4 or 5 years old. The humane society told us he was about 1 or 2. However, when we heard he may need teeth pulled Dave thought he might be older than we thought (Dave was a vet tech for a few years and knows a ton about animals). So we are anxious to see how old the vet estimated him to be and how he is doing. I am hoping that he is anywhere from 1 to 4 and that he didn't need teeth pulled. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Let's have a question of the day...or maybe it can be for the whole week since many don't get to check in daily.

What are you doing to offset the rising price of gas? I am trying to run errands in the most efficient manner. Also, I am trying to cut down our grocery costs to save money. Although that is hard too because grocery costs are rising.

Well, have a good night or a good morning depending on when you read this. Enjoy the weekend!

Love,
Tricia
