Wintry weather

Happy sunday everyone. we have about 18-22" of snow here... how about everyone else?

My parents drove in from NC friday night and yesterday. The stopped at Aunt Patty's and Uncle Danny's for breakfast yesterday morning and saw Jenn and Mike and the girls, too. They made it safely home yesterday around 4pm, but I guess the last hour of travel from Rochester was slow going because of the iciness.

Bob and I were going to go snow shoeing but it is so darn cold and windy out. We finally have enough snow though, so hopefully this week or next weekend sometime. We are going out for dinner with his family to celebrate Connie's bday. Us girls never made it out friday night because of the weather... the roads were bad and her nurse called in sick so she would have had to find a last minute babysitter (either the sperm donor or her mom) so we postponed our night out until this coming friday. Anyway, we are going to Applebees in case Annaleha (our niece) is noisy (inevitable) so we figured Applebees is the best type of restaurant to bring a noisy kid too. I am glad she is coming, she is such a trip!

Bob and I have a few business related dinners this week which I look forward to. We are going to Bonefish tuesday with one of his sales reps (or something like that) who is a lot of fun. Some of you may remember his wife and him getting down on the dance floor at my wedding. Good times! And I love bonefish! Then, wednesday we have dinner with BOb's company's attorney and the brockport goalie and his girlfriend who have started "Saves for a Cure" where donations are made to a cancer hospital in Rochester every time Brockport saves a goal from going in. The goalie, Todd, battled cancer and is still rocking out as their goalie, so Bob's company is sponsoring him and paying for his legal fees, etc.... so we are all going to Shamus for dinner and then Todd will be on LCTV that night talking about his fight with cancer, how he overcame it, and the Saves for a Cure that he began.

Well, I have some time to be lazy before dinner so will go watch some of my DVR episodes.
