It's called a sense of humor. You should get one, they're nice!

Good morning everyone! My quote is from Pretty in Pink-another favorite '80's movie of mine.

How is everyone? Things here are good. It's so sunny outside right now. Mia asked if we could go for a walk, but it's still soaking wet out there...and, there's the little fact that Gianna is still sleeping and I don't think as a parent that I'm allowed to leave her alone at home while Mia and I go off for a walk!! Mia doesn't seem to care if we leave, but I'm sure Gianna would!!
We're really excited about our visitors coming this weekend! Tricia and I have been thinking of some places with good eats and yes, Susan, good drinks! :o) We'll come up with a plan.
Bernadette, you asked about air mattresses- you can bring them if you'd like. We have 2 couches and a recliner that is comfy in our living room, but the mattresses would fit and maybe be more comfortable. I'm up for whatever makes you guys happy. Bring pillows, though, because that's the only thing I don't have. I have blankets. When Mia wakes up, she always comes right to my room, so she won't wake you. And lately, Gianna has been sleeping late, so she probably won't wake anyone. We might do breakfast for everyone here at my house Sunday morning, so that should be fun.
Well, I have piano tonight and this week I barely played. I really have to play during the day today so I don't waste my time tonight with my teacher. It goes by so fast!
Here's a little dose of cuteness for the morning: The other day the girls were helping me put away clean clothes. I folded them and Mia puts them in her drawer and Gianna usually puts hers on her rocking chair. When we were finished, Mia says "mine are all in my dresser." Gianna said, "mine, too." I know she can't open her dresser drawers, so I assumed she put them on her chair still. When I went in her room to put them away, there wasn't anything on her chair. I called her in and asked her where all the clothes were. She walked over to her dresser, tipped her head upside down while laying it on the floor and said "mommy they're under there." She stuffed them all UNDER her dresser! As I bent over to look, I can see all the different colors of her socks sticking out. She was so proud of herself!! I told her she did Fantastic!! and when she wasn't looking, I had Mia get them...my arms couldn't even fit under the little space she put them in. It was so cute!
Well, I better go wake up my crazy kid! Poor Mia is sick of being quiet!! She's been up since 6:45!! Some things never change!!
Have a great day everyone. I'll check in later! Oh Sarah, Mia is so psyched about her haircut. You would think she's a teenager the way she keeps asking about her hair! She even told her teacher that her cousin is going to do her hair. She is so "girlie."
Say hello to everyone from us!! love & hugs!! ~jenn
