Hi everyone! Wow, I almost just typed good morning! Today is even more off the normal schedule than yesterday was. We started the day late and Mia wanted homemade waffles for breakfast which takes a while. Anyway, here I am at 1:30 and it feels like 10! Since Tuesdays are the day I dislike most, I'm not complaining!
We were outside on our patio for a little while before and it's so, so nice outside! I even have a few shirts hanging to dry out there. I'm still shuffling toys around this place and seriously need to give a lot away. I'm looking to give them to someone who needs things instead of donating to a church or library, but right now I'm not sure who that someone is. I have to work on that!
Sarah- I thought of you this morning...I watched Saved by the Bell. I was busy in my room cleaning and it was on when I turned on the t.v. So, I watched the girls versus the boys in obstacles to win $10,000 for their school. Tori was in it, not Kelly or Jesse.
Susan- I can't believe how busy it will be for you at work very soon. I hope you don't have to work that crazy schedule you mentioned.
Tricia- I've had a question to ask you for about 3 weeks so I'll have to talk with you later. Nothing important, just something I'd like info. on.
So, at lunch before, the girls had bagels with cream cheese. Gianna was a mess and covered in cream cheese. I gave her a napkin and she wiped her face. Then, she said "here Mommy!" and used her napkin to wipe my face (I was sitting right next to her) and she smeared cream cheese all over my cheek and of course, in my hair. Gross!! Mia was laughing so hard that she spit juice out of her mouth onto her plate. I'll tell ya, these girls have great table manners when they're home. Then, they were laughing uncontrollably because while they were watching Sesame Street, instead of calling Oscar the Grouch's friend Slimey, Gianna called him Salami. That set off a long round of the giggles and they've been nuts since!! Ugh, Tuesdays are the longest day!!
As for the coffee talk I missed this morning, I am not a coffee drinker, but am hooked on cappuccino. There are 2 kinds I buy at the store and make it like hot chocolate and it's awesome. I've had english toffee and french vanilla. I'm totally hooked!
Question of the day: everyday things I do that are healthy?? Like Tricia, I only use ground turkey instead of beef. Also, I'm very careful with things that contain high fructose syrup especially for the kids. Juice gets watered down completely. We buy milk from a dairy to make sure the cows aren't given any steroids before they are milked. The girls and I exercise together to dvd's or on our own most days, too. I know there's more, but I can't think of any. As soon as I finish a few things will probably come to mind
Well, I have a very messy kitchen to clean. Waffles are messy and the girls are even messier! I'll check in with you all later!! Have a great day!!
love & hugs!! ~jenn
