Weird Dreams...

My alarm went off at 5 this morning (it was a Philadelphia day) and as soon as I woke up, I heard in my head "can't help it, the girl can't help it....can't help it, the girl can't help it". Do you know that song? I've heard it, honestly, twice. I didn't hear it yesterday so not sure why it was the first thing my brain did this morning but, there ya go!

Philadelphia was good but it rained the whole time I was driving, both ways. I need new tires so I had to go slower than I normally would. I tried a new way that avoided the ghetto, but just in case, I was all set with Kanye West playing (Gold Digger), slouched down low in my ride (yeah, my minivan...enough to make any ghetto dweller jealous!) with one hand on the wheel. Get down girl, go head get down...get down girl go head get down! lol...

So much to say today. Class last night was great. I really enjoy the kids at this school. The boys are a bunch of smart asses but in a funny way and I can tell they like me because I can get their jokes and dish it out too. They said I was better than the old teacher they had last semester (some kids failed last semester...some had me but others had another teacher). I did cry leaving my kids home with my friend for the first time, but they all did great. Daniel was sad to see her go home.

PA trip--I'm free on the 9th and 10th so works great for me! It will be a welcome break from my studying. I have a pull out couch if anyone wants to stay here. In fact, you can stay for like two or three weeks and be my live-in nanny while I study for the exam. Then I'll kick ya out and send you back to B-lo. :-)

Lauren--go get that free money and the free education!!!! We will totally be partners in a catering business (yes, you just got promoted from chef to partner!).

Sarah--I also have anxiety in new situations but I have learned that others do often feel the same way. I always try to just sit next to someone who looks friendly and I say hello and see where it leads. And if you start a new program, everyone in the class will most likely be new too so no one will know each other. That's always helpful because then everyone is looking to make friends.

Susan--I had a dream once where Dave cheated on me and I woke him up (it was in the middle of the night) and yelled at him for "dream cheating" on me (that phrase is from Friends, Kristy did you recognize it?).

Bernadette--tell your Mom hi for me!

Mark--enjoy your day off and your night at the game!

Jenn--I'm home so call me at your convenience. I don't know if Gianna is sleeping...

I need to get something to eat. I had a banana on the ride down to Philly and an apple on the way home...that's all.

I'll talk to you later but since its Friday afternoon.....get down girl, go head get down.... And remember: You can see him on tv any given Sunday, win the superbowl and drive off in hyundai.... That part always makes me laugh. Ok, I am going for real this time.

Love ya's
Tricia
