Thanks for all your input guys on my "dilemma"!! I do want to start volunteering with animals, but during tax season, I don't think that'll be possible, but hopefully after, I can start!

Tricia, Thanks for all your thoughts! About being a vet, I considered that seriously, but honestly, I don't think it is for me. I wouldn't be able to do the anatomy courses (I have never been able to dissect anything!!), and I don't think I would like seeing all those animals come in in pain, and putting them to sleep?? I'd probably cry every time!! haha
Vet tech? I researched that as well, and it is only an hourly job that really doens't pay well, so I don't think that would cut it!!
But I will read those books you recommended!! I appreciate you taking time to help me!!
