No problem for getting serious. I have no clients today so I don't mind hearing about your problem! I would not mind anyway... :)
Hmmm...sounds like you don't want to get stuck in a routine that you are not satisfied with but don't know what it is you would be happy with or how to go about finding it.... but you have an idea since you have a passion for animals and helping....
Is there a way you could continue to do what you are doing (for the income) and explore other options (e.g., night classes- after tax season; talking with animal "foster parents")...
Just my quick thoughts...
