Hey Everyone!

How are all your days shaping up? Here same old, same old.
So I've been thinking about the question of the day...
So one thing about me is that I am a horrible liar, I just can't do it, I lack that cool, suave gene. One time last summer Alex, a friend, and I decided to take a trip to NYC. There was an outdoor music festival in Ithaca called grassroots and we decided that we were going to stop there for the night and camp out. The only problem was that we didn't have tickets and they at the door they cost $30 each. So we decided to sneak in by climbing over a fence and we did it. We found a spot to set up camp, but some people there saw that we hadn't paid and told the security guards, who then came and kicked us out. Well in NYC we had some friends waiting for us, who wanted us to come that same day, but we said that we had already "bought" the tickets to the festival. Anyways we stay the night there, get to our friends' house the next day, and Alex tells me, "Listen, they think we had tickets and that's why we didn't come yesterday, so don't tell them that we snuck in" These were friends of Alex's and I meet them, they ask "Oh how was the festival" and me, the first thing I say to these people "Oh it was hilarious they kicked us out after we snuck in!" And the girl says "Oh you didn't have tickets? and I say "Oh no, they were too expensive blah blah blah..." And Alex just looks at me and shakes his head. I'm a horrible liar. But I guess that's a good trait, I'd don't like liars, but there are some situations that its called for haha.
Another thing is that I have a horrible sweet tooth. I cannot live without sweets, but after growing up with my mom, you all know, with brownies, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, ice cream, its kind of impossible that I'm not an addict to that kind of food haha.
Another thing is that I love cooking. Since I was little I loved it, I used to cook with Grandma all the time and we even used to say that we were going to open a restaurant together. I'm actually thinking very seriously about culinary school now, here in Spain they have some really good ones, that are, this is key, FREE! So I was going to look into that for when I get back.
Another thing is that I love movies. I can watch movies all day long every day of the week if I had time. My favorites are Tarrantino films, but there are so many that I have seen and liked that it is impossible to name a favorite. The only movies that I don't like are those typical Hollywood movies, and some romatic comedies that are just too sweet and fake that they make you want to puke. (I'm not bitter really!) haha Jenn I'm the same way with sad movies! If some one tells me that a movie is sad, I will not see it.
Oh Tricia, I love to read too! Once I get started I just can't put a book down until I finish. I just got done reading this book called "Ines of My Soul" by Isabel Allende. It is an amazing book, its a novel but its based on real events and people. Its historical but also its also a love story and also like a Mother-daughter story. Its really good, so if you're looking for a new book to read I recommend this one.
Well Susan about your little carreer problem, we've talked about it before, but I was thinking some more and you know at UB they probably have a Carreer development center and they have these programs where you answer a bunch of questions and after they give you a summary of things that you might be good at or that might interest you. I mean sometimes those things don't do a good job, but just to maybe give you some new ideas. We'll talk more when I'm there!
Well thats it for now, I hope all is well with everyone! Love you!!
Lauren
