Keeping Susan from being bored!

Hi Susan,

I'd be bored too if I were doing taxes. I am actually calculating grades right now, so its not much better. I get too emotional. If I like a student but they didn't do well, I find myself trying to find ways to give them a better grade. I just emailed my supervisor to see if I can give a curve.

As for my job, I teach online and at a local college. Online I teach composition courses and criminal justice courses. I just finished two composition courses last week and now I am down to one composition course and one criminal justice course. They end in January and early February. I will not be picking up any others until March because I am studying to take the bar exam which is at the end of February. I need to devote a lot of time to that so I have cut back on classes for right now.

At the local college, I just finished up three freshmen classes called Freshmen Experience. It is a how to adjust to college kind of class. Our last class was yesterday so now I am calculating grades. I have one section of it again in the spring for all my students who fail this semester and for any freshmen that start in the spring. Next fall, hopefully, I will have another three sections.

So, those are my jobs. They keep me busy along with the boys. I love it though and I hope to take on more and more classes as time goes on.

Ok, I have to feed Andrew lunch and get Dave out the door to work. Still snowing here!
